I think it depends on the circumstances when Bob gets back to you, if you have not waited the 6-8 weeks they say they will release the cheques by then they won't rush to reply. I got a reply from him within 48hrs but I have been waiting 12 weeks.

I agree I got my e-mail back within 24hrs last week.:)

I am now +3 days over the 8 weeks, when I called them last week they said that that I will receive my cheques in 10 work days. So like most everyone else here, I will remain skeptical until I have the cheques deposited and the cash showing in my account

Send Bob Diamond an e-mail and tell him you are three days over your date. That's what I did last week and it managed to work for me.

Nothing again, I never sent anything bad to bob no point... Today we are back on the phones going to be calling every number under the sun. Until we find someone who gives a ........ ........given their track record that could be a long time.....

Just a thought ..I did not include my account details in my e-mail to bob (as e-mails are not secure) put my full address and phone number etc in ....do you think that would make a difference ... still would not be inclined to send a e-mail with my account details in to anyone having had my bank account hacked twice before.....

You should have just given them a reference number from your correspondence if you didn't want to give them your account numbers.

I sent my full details in my e-mail but my accounts are now closed, got an e-mail back within 48 hrs and just been informed my cheques now been done and in the Liverpool office about to be posted out. Only been a week since my e-mail to Bob so can't complain.

I think those of you are around the 8 week waiting period need to be patient, rightly or wrongly they are not meeting this deadline and an e-mail to Bob won't do any harm to chase up your money but it seems they are dealing with the cases that are well overdue as a priority first. it's frustrating waiting but as they now seem to be at least issuing cheques lets hope we all get reimbursed soon.

Just phoned first plus and the very nice lady down the phone said absolutely nothing.... couldn't understand why the cheque hasn't been raised yet and would email cardiff again to see why.

we have now sent a third email to mr diamond this time including our ref number, will wait to see if he has the common courtesy to respond back this time.

at our wits end....:mad:

Sorry if you have stated this already earlier, but how long have you been waiting since ou returned the acceptance forms?


Also the nice lady, who is just a go between and trys to keep you sweet, based in Liverpool will send an e-mail to Cardiff who will totally ignore it, think I had about six sent by Liverpool without a response, thats why I took it further. I even managed to upset the apple cart by getting a telephone number for Cardiff not the PPI dept but another finance dept which they were not happy about. Think I have p$%&*ed them off so much they have decided pay me out, I have been waiting nearly 13 weeks though.
