First Plus in default of FSA ppi agreement

I should have heard if ours claim was being up held on the 10th, ours is slightly more complicated as there are two issues running independant of each other, one a mis selling and one being dealt with via Bob Diamonds office,(alledgedly!) wont bore you with details.

Any way phoned yesterday and the agent tried to say they hadnt had a complaint made, errr I said why have I get all these letters and reference numbers in front of me, to which she replied please hold and i'll check something, ten minutes later she was back and said we cant proceed until you have returned the evidence that was requested, no I replied they are two seperate issues which she tried to argue with until I read the letter stating that they were being handled seperately, OK she replies let me check one more thing, 20 minutes of holding she cam back with something will be in the post today and you will definately get it tomorrow and then she hung up on me !!!!! She didnt even tell me if it was the decision could be anything, needless to say nothing in the post today.

Wonder where they train there staff, oh silly me they dont train them their just told to improvise!!

I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments and support ...for those that are just in the early weeks of waiting for their cheques my thoughts are with them.. Your calender will end up looking like a scene from the old TV series of Robinson Crusoe ...covered in x's (now I’m showing my age)

I would advise just forgetting about the cheque until it comes, but we all know that is very hard and in my case I failed miserably ...every day over the past 9 weeks of waiting for the cheque I hoped I would see it ….I have to say until the 8 weeks are up you have little chance of seeing or hearing anything ..but who knows I have been told miracles do happen (even though I have never seen one )

Finally 'Bob' didn't call or e-mail today. I hope I didn't upset him with my bankers joke...with all his money like he gives a *£!! what you or I think.

And if you asked me if I do it all again …..NO I BLOODY WOUNDN'T (said /typed in a victor Meldrew voice) Okay I probably would do....:D

I'm glad your feeling a little less stressed, I'm sure Bob will e-mail you back Monday or Tuesday.
I know what you mean with the stress of it all I ticked along ok until I hit the six week mark, then I started to think where are these cheques. Then when you go over your eight week deadline you cannot help to become furious that they still have not arrived. I'm sure your cheques will be sitting in your bank by the end of next week and you and your wife can enjoy a lovely day out .

Sorry to hear your news, if they continue to mess you around try e-mailing Bob Diamond just to let him know what is going on. I hope it arrives in the post today.

Thanks Nutty at, nothing in the post today, and the letter saying it would arrive by the 10th came from Bob Diamonds office after me emailing him! this months payment is due on the 15th wonder how long it would take them to contact me if I missed it,mmmmmmmmm less than 24 hours me thinks.lol
