I knew reading this thread would make me twitchy!

I've just worked out how far along I am.

Acceptance received by FP 18/10/11 so I've just worked it out I'm only just over 3 weeks in

My date is around 13th of December.

nuttynat - any idea on what car your gonna get your son?

My sons aren't getting cars but will have to make do with mini season tickets for Sheffield Wednesdays last 13 games of the season oh and one for me also.

Made up for you at least cheques are coming out, I have been waiting 12 weeks so you have done well, sure mine will be along soon only for £15000.

I'm going to get him a 1.0 corsa as the insurance is soooooooooooo expensive for teenage boys. A mini ticket to sheffield Wednesdays sounds great to me. xx

I am very pleased for all who have had positive news and events today. It gives us all hope and that is what we all need after all this time. We did phone today even though we agreed we wouldn't and guess what.... there is a new recorded message that says something like... 'The operators can not tell you when your cheque is coming' ...my wife stayed on the line anyway and was told that our figure had been readdressed and that usually means it's getting ready to be posted …..I won't believe anything until the cheque is in my hand......and then we have to wait for it to clear in a barclays bank lol

I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments and support ...for those that are just in the early weeks of waiting for their cheques my thoughts are with them.. Your calender will end up looking like a scene from the old TV series of Robinson Crusoe ...covered in x's (now I’m showing my age)

I would advise just forgetting about the cheque until it comes, but we all know that is very hard and in my case I failed miserably ...every day over the past 9 weeks of waiting for the cheque I hoped I would see it ….I have to say until the 8 weeks are up you have little chance of seeing or hearing anything ..but who knows I have been told miracles do happen (even though I have never seen one )

Finally 'Bob' didn't call or e-mail today. I hope I didn't upset him with my bankers joke...with all his money like he gives a *£!! what you or I think.

And if you asked me if I do it all again …..NO I BLOODY WOUNDN'T (said /typed in a victor Meldrew voice) Okay I probably would do....:D

Takes a couple of days for Bob to e-mail you back but then if you have p@£$%^d him off, may take a little longer.
