So sorry to hear that, what have they said they are going to do?
  • After the excitement of people getting their Cheques on Saturday we are back to business as usual for me no cheques and still no info from bob or anyone come to that on when this cheque will come …

So basically until something happens for me I have returned to my default sate of highly sceptical. Tomorrow they will be 2 weeks over the 1st agreed payment date. As it stands I have currently £50 till the end of the month bet that's Mr Diamonds lunch money. I don't want FP call centre fake sympathy, I just want my money yesterday …...well 5 years ago actually when they rolled the full term of the ppi £10,000 into my loan pay-off figure.

Still well done everyone that like me just keeps on keeping on...have a good one.

My heart goes out to your both ;), I think I would send Bob another e-mail tomorrow asking him why you have had no reply and that you will now be looking for compensation as well.

Good luck to you both xx:A

She has sent an email to the person that deals with the letters to chase it up as a matter of urgency, and asked him to call me to tell me it is being dealt with. I have emailed Bob Diamond again so we will see.
  • One has to really ask the question what motivation do people really have to remain within the law when they see corporations flaunt every rule in the book? It's amazing when someone finally goes crazy all society claims to be shocked, me I have to say if you keep pressurizing people and fail to placate their grievances sooner or latter they will Blow! In lots of highly unpredictable ways.

    Crazy funny Idea
Another friend who loves conspiracy theory’s as much as I, suggested that all the First Plus Winners on here could simply be bank employees paid to give us hope and stop of us from taking any more legal action ….I thought that was brilliant highly silly but brilliant . .....:rotfl: That makes you nutty nat a double agent lol :rotfl: ........

Thank you nat for your support..... I have e-mailed bob twice and simply got nothing :(... so I think a third time will be a waste, he has probably change that e-mail now... he wouldn't want a load of angry peasants bothering him would he.

I think it depends on the circumstances when Bob gets back to you, if you have not waited the 6-8 weeks they say they will release the cheques by then they won't rush to reply. I got a reply from him within 48hrs but I have been waiting 12 weeks.
  • I have emailed Bob Diamond twice and although I didnt get an e mail back from either, the emails were passed on to someone else, one to a complaints executive and one Robert Moss MD and I have received letters back from them within a week.

Double agent :rotfl:you make me chuckle. Sorry to say none of us work or have ever worked in a bank. I am just an ordinary housewife and hubby manages a truck company. My e-mails have always come back from a Mrs Thomas.

Allthough I have felt like giving lots of verbal abuse to Mr Diamond I always sent polite e-mails and always thank them when they reply. I went three days over my eight weeks. ;)
