  • Today was NSD5 which is good but some reason I feel a bit low, a bit podgy (well a lot podgy!!) and my hair is a mess (badly needs cutting).

I woke up this morning feeling like I could take on the world, everything went smoothly with the kids going back to school, I had proper breakfast, I'd done all the packed lunches last night so no rushing round, I felt motivated and determined but by the time I got to work I just felt deflated and I'd had a bit of cry in the car, not sure why I was so teary.

I don't really think its the money side of things, that all seems to be under control-ish. I need to smarten myself up and lose weight. I've mentioned thousands (must stop exaggerating too!) of times on this diary about all the clothes I could wear if I lost say a stone, and with 2 stone there would be even more.

I feel a bit motivated now I've put pen to paper (if you get what I mean). If I can sort this massive debt we have out then surely I can lose a few lbs.

Anyway I'm going to stop moaning and do something constructive.......after I've caught up on some diaries ;).......and take the dog for a walk once OH gets back. Then do packed lunches as it made things so much easier this morning.

Just think in 5 years time I could be debt free and slim........mmmmm :D

Hello my dear, hope you feel a bit more cheerful this evening and thanks for popping over to see me. I love visitors. Today is apparently officially the most depressing day of the year so I'm fairly certain you are not alone with having felt glum. Christmas and NY celebrations well and truly over, families back at work and school and life goes on pretty much the same way it has before. So not really surprising is it. Just remember we are all here to support each other and will all come out the other side eventually.

Definitely echoing your plan for an early night for everybody there Alice, my lot are shattered and were fit for nothing when they were dragged up for school today. they have got into some very bad habits over the School Hols !

So glad you are feeling better. I have noticed recently I really cant be bothered with dressing up or doing my hair. Mr PG must look at me and think I look a real mess . I think its worse working mainly from home as I can hide away in my scruffy state !

Good luck with that list tonight ! :D x

  • Well we have managed -

    [STRIKE]Do ironing - Me [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Finish homework - DS2[/STRIKE]
Tidy all toys from the living room - DS3 and OH - sort of :(
[STRIKE]Sort and clean all rugby/football boots - All males in the house :)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort and tidy all trainers - All males in the house :)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Walk the dog - Me[/STRIKE] - But not by me :(
Prepare packed lunches - Me & OH - Not yet, after this post
Have an early night - Everybody - Not quite :(

Had a problem with the dishwasher leaking so OH has spent an hour sorting that out.
DS2 had a problem loading his 1tunes voucher that he'd had for Christmas so had to sort that out. The laptop did not want to play.
DS1 has 'girl' trouble, am keeping out of it (unless he needs me!!) but he's such a sensative soul he doesn't want to upset anyone.....he wants to be single, she doesn't......Oh to be young again ;)

Heating and TV both off tonight, have done 2 loads of washing so finger crossed its dry tomorrow.

Got £10 petrol on way home, now we really are down to pence in the account, think I will transfer just a bit from the emergency fund just in case......I always worry a DD will come out early.

Off to do packed lunches even though all I want to do is slope off to bed. xx
