I wrapped last night, lucky I did really as I managed to miscount and the girls have one present each more than little man. I spent ages last night trying to think of something else for him but finally thought of something. Expensive and time consuming business buying presents for 3 DGC, especially when I also have to get things from DM, DF & DD.
I hope you have a great Christmas and if you want any assistance to start your self managed DMP, just give me a shout x

Some days have been quite nice but the garden is all muddy, the chickens get under my feet and I am bound to drop something and have to wash it again!
I am still not using the tumble dryer and instead am doing smaller loads every few days and drying them on the airer - so far I have managed it, everything is drying really quickly. It's like a game to keep up with everything and make sure all that is needed is washed and ready but so far it's working. Must save us loads of electricity.
Definitely getting rid of the tumble dryer in the new year.
I am also going to wrap presents this weekend - I have brought what I think I needed to but does not seem very much. DD's xmas list is full of tat so I have only got her what I think she should have - she might be disappointed:(
Have a good weekend.
I think it's like another job EE keeping the washing/drying ticking over. It's a skill.:D
Our line must just be in the right place, we live on top of a hill so it's quite breezy.:)
I'm sure your DD will be thrilled with her gifts. I must admit I've tried to keep it practical as well this year, sometimes that doesn't go down to well either. I'm hoping our nieces and nephews will be happy!!

I think the wrapping is really time consuming. I think I may go over the top with the wrapping, I like the gifts to look nice even if it's just say some colouring books.:rotfl:
Thanks for your kind offer granny. I know where to come.:)

Went to cheapy shop yesterday, stocked up on toiletries and cleaning stuff. Called into butchers and got sausages for tea (had them with mash, peas and onion gravy, delish:))
Went to @ldi yesterday too, used voucher. I just about stuck to the list. I do feel under pressure to stock up on chocolate/sweets/treats that we really don't need nor can we afford. I have got a few bits in but nothing major. Sometimes I feel like the bad guy for not filling the trolley with !!!!.
Last night we went ice skating, mega spend £45 inc drinks. Didn't realise how expensive it was when we accepted the invitation.:(
Have wrapped a few presents....the ones we are giving out today.lol

Hi mummy, yeah I know, that was for 4 of us for 2 hours, then drinks on top.
In the 'old day's' we've gone Christmas food shopping, no list and a bill into the hundreds all for 2 trolleys full of rubbish.:)
Went to @ldi spent £78 (no rubbish honestly mummy :rotfl:)less £15 voucher. Need to sort house insurance out and update spending diary/budget.
DS comes home today:D, can't wait for this afternoon to finish so I can go home and give him a big hug.:(

Awww I bet this afternoon will drag for you, hurry up and get home!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, I was very impressed with the @ldi shop, even got fruit and veg now I've worked out their 'date' system. All good.:)
It's been total chaos since DS got back but I'm loving every minute of it. Forgot how much he eats and how much milk he drinks.:rotfl:
Food budget has gone a bit off track so have transferred some of OHs wages to cover it. We went bowling tonight with friends, spent £25 then £8 on drinks (DS2 & 3 had squash -40p). Gave DS1 £10 as he was going out after to catch up with friends.
Also paid house insurance in full, not sure if I've done the right thing but it saved £25 interest charges.
Going to forget about money for the next few days and enjoy time with family. Merry Christmas.

Hi mummy, apparently they use the week number and day of the week. Ie 5002 is week 50 and day 2 of the week. So if the packet had 5006 that is a 'fresher' date, still week 50 but day 6 of the week.
I was next to a lady who was mumbling about the numbers so I cheekily asked her. Hope that's the right info.:)
We've had a lovely couple of days. Had the oldies over yesterday so the heating was blasting away. Think I've just about got the food right, haven't had loads of waste, just need to get a few fresh things today.
Need to get petrol today too. Also need a new spending diary/budget book.......can't wait to start afresh. Just transferred some more money from the wages.:)
