  • Finally got round to doing meter readings this morning. We are now -£45, that is going to take some clawing back. I hadn't read it for 3 weeks.:o

Still on 6 NSDs, today should be one too.

OH has received a statement from Bcard, they are now charging interest (because we reduced the payments twice last year), so the monthly payment is £21.52 and the added interest is £24.76, balance is £1448.54. OH going to speak to stepchange.

Between Thursday and yesterday we've had the following spends - £35 petrol, £120 food/toiletries/cleaning stuff split between @ldi, sburys, butchers and c0stc0, £10 on gift card, £15 in M&S on birthday present (February birthday but got it whilst I was there :)).

Took DS3 to party yesterday, we stayed and spent £5 in the cafe.

Have sorted cash out for next week - bus, lottery, leisure. I need to save £40 a week to pay for childcare at the start of the month. This paying for all the childcare monthly instead of spilt between weekly and monthly is taking some getting used to.

Pegged the 'bigger stuff' out today, going to do the housework this morning and off to a charity football match this afternoon. Dinner and tackle the ironing when we get back.

  • Footie match was cancelled yesterday afternoon so we stayed in.

    Today was NSD 8.

Have updated spending diary/budget and we have £43 left in account until Thursday. DS2 needs some money sending over, will send some on Thursday and re-jig the budget to cover it.

Must get car exhaust sorted and wiper blades.

We all need a hair cut. I was hoping to go to the salon and have my hair coloured. It's got to the point where I have to use two boxes of dye to colour it all but alas it's not to be......no spare money.:(

  • Today was NSD 10.:)

I've received an email from t3sc0 for £15 off a £60 shop on line. We do need some fresh stuff and milk etc so thinking do a small top up shop tomorrow on the way home, then place an order using the voucher to be delivered over the weekend.

Also need petrol and some cash...... 3 haircuts this weekend.

  • I've just sneaked online and completed my t3sc0 shop. The shopping came to £61 plus £3 delivery less £15 voucher leaving £49 to pay, but the savings came to £24.

So if Ive worked it out right the shopping would of been £88 but we've paid £49....think that's right. Shame I had to pay the £3 delivery fee.

  • Thats a good saving Alice, I never seem to get any online money off codes anymore from any of the supermarkets :(.
  • Hope the haircuts are not too expensive this weekend!!

DH and DS are having a mop chop today as well!!

I have found a couple of smileys for us t6034.gif and then t6013.gif

I see you have still been pegging out. I am still pegging on the airer - does that count?
  • Thats a good saving Alice, I never seem to get any online money off codes anymore from any of the supermarkets :(.

Hi pwps, if I don't order for a while I get a voucher so I will wait now until t3sc0 send me another one. I know people who get money off vouchers from sburys every month, not me I'm afraid.

Our food/toiletries/cleaning stuff spends so far this month is £294. OH got a voucher for @ldi £5 off £40 shop, that runs out Thursday so will go Thursday night.

Have pegged out this morning......it's a bit fresh out there! But have to confess I did run the towels that had been on the airers since Thursday through the TD, it must of been over 2 years since I last used it. They don't half feel luxurious now.;)

So for the first time in weeks the hall way is washing free, the airing cupboard has no washing drying in it and the line is blowing like a good'un......these little things make me happy.

The only down point this week is that DS1 needed some money for a little problem he had (nothing life threatening) but we don't have any 'spare' and had to ask my parents. Think they now realise our situation (hopefully not the severity of it), bet they're not best pleased, will wait for the fallout.

Yesterday was NSD11. Today we need to pay for haircuts, for DS3 and me, but OH and DS2 going to wait another week.

Off to sports club....with a flask of tea.;)

  • I feel really rough this morning.......I look pretty rough too.:rotfl: I have a headache over my left eye and I just want to go back to bed but......

T3sc0 shopping came yesterday, all good. I'm going to really try and not go to a supermarket until I spend the @ldi voucher on Thursday. We have fresh stuff, milk and bread so there shouldn't be any reason too!!

I didn't get my hair cut yesterday, my hairdresser fell ill and had to cancel. Will try again next week. DS3 got his hair cut £6.40. That was the only spend yesterday.:)

I've washed school coats and blazers this morning and as it's dry will peg them out.:)

OH going to wash the cars and then I'm not sure what's planned for the rest of the day......nothing much I hope.;)

Hope everybody has a good day.xx

Whilst tonight's tea was doing (hotdogs, mash and beans) I made a cottage pie for tomorrows tea.

Have booked hair again for Saturday, can't wait for that hours pampering. Pay day tomorrow, down to £35 in the bank.
