    Mummy, mystery solved.;)

I'm in work today..boo hood..but to be honest I'm loving the peace and quiet, nothing brewing here so have got my new spending diary all ready. I'm going to keep track of the following spends -

    Food/toiletries/cleaning stuff
    Petrol
    Gas/elec
    Mobiles
    Haircuts
    Cat/dog food
    Sky-broadband no TV
    Childcare
    Window cleaner
    Dinner money (DS2)

I've also done the meter readings, we have used £72 in 2 weeks.

I've set the kids a task today to cut up the Christmas cards into tags for next year.;).

Think we might take the tree down tomorrow. I think I'm just trying to wish this year away.:o

I'm the same Alice, trying to take the xmas decorations down without the family noticing, they call me scrooge but by now I want a clean fresh house. Have started going through the cupboards and parting company with a lot of stuff that is not wanted, either recycling or binning. Decided to have a more simple life in 2015 and instead of spending I hope to be saving.

I am also in work later don't usually work a Monday but it will be five hours overtime that will be put into my savings.x

  • Hi Alice, I'm also ready for all the christmas tat to be put away, but I've promised the children that they can stay until New Years day, then I am taking them down and doing a huge clean.
  • Our decs are now down!! House spotless :D x

  • amber, yay to the overtime and having a good sort out. I love a good sort out.:)

Pwps & mummy, put the dec's all away yesterday, house clean, neat and tidy. :D

Went shopping this morning, £46, got petrol £20, bday presents £30 (all half price in sale ;)and £4.56 in card shop.

Have updated the figures on my signature. With halving some payments this year we have pushed our DFD back to November 2018. Current balance is £21,894........if I say it quick it doesn't sound so bad.:o.

After working hard yesterday and clearing up we're having a chilled out day today. Not sure if we're going out tonight, I'm not a big fan of NYE plus got to think about the finances as we have a family meal tomorrow, think we'll need £70-£80.
