Thanks mummy, it still seems such an enormous amount to get through though....will keep plodding.;)
Thanks EE, happy new year to you too.:)
Well the start of another year. Spending diary....new spending diary should I say...:rotfl: all filled in and ready. I've transferred the rest of our wages over and to be honest it just looks like the start of any other month.:o
Yesterday's company and the meal were fab. We had a really lovely time.....albeit a bit spendy.....spent £88. Meal and drinks for the whole afternoon....eeek.
Today we need to get petrol and a few bits - milk, toilet roll, pots and veg, Tbags and lemonade (spritzers tonight, weaning off the alcohol slowly). Also must get cash for bus and lottery money next week. Then need to start having some NSDs!
Have pegged 2 loads out.:D.
Happy Debt Busting New Year everyone.

Still no NSD!! Went to sports club this morning, spent £2 on drinks.
Yesterday spent £27 in sburys, £18 (was £20 but had £2 voucher) in £1land and £30 petrol. Also got DS2s bday present £50 (did save £25 though) and picked up 2 other presents for upcoming birthdays.
Still need to get 2 more presents for January birthdays.
Called into club on the way home, kids played pool/table football and drinks spent £14. Then had chippy tea on way home £12.
The only cash I have left is for bus and lottery next week.
I've said to OH that is it now no more spending. No more chippy teas (back to the first Friday in every month), no more 'just calling in' to the club, back to eating properly and just generally back to normal - keeping a tight rein on our finances.

Yesterday was NSD 3.:). Today I need to call and get milk and petrol. We have enough cash to pay lottery but I've got a 'collection' at work to give to £5. Will wait until Friday and get more cash out then.
We're back to giving DS2 £5 pocket money every week.......does that sound about right??

Have had a chaotic couple of days, have paid works lottery, spent £22 in sburys on Wednesday....just getting milk!!
Gave DS his pocket money today, and spent another £46 on shopping. We seemed to have run out of everything.
DS3 invited to bday party tomorrow, forgot to get present today. Doh! Will get one on the way.
Car exhaust has just started to blow, need to get it checked out. Hope it can wait until end of the month.:o
Heating has been off for the last few days. Can't believe how mild it has been. Did manage to peg 2 loads out today, they were nearly dry.
Feeling a bit in limbo, couldn't wait for the new year to start and but now don't feel like we're getting anywhere. Still need to decide whether to 'self manage' our DMP. At the moment don't feel confident enough.....:(
Thursday was NSD3.:)

Today's only spend was a birthday present for the party DS3 went to. We went in the 'other car' with the very noisy exhaust, DS thought it was great.:rotfl:
Managed to dry some washing outside this morning, just airing it. Had company tonight so put the heating for a bit.
Bus money sorted, I have a few £s left, going to try and use for the lottery, not aware of any other spends over the next few days.

I've worked out we've got 47 payments to go on our DMP.

We have £33 left in bank until Thursday. Exhaust on the other car now sounding terrible, proper boy racer.:rotfl:
Have got 4 birthdays over this weekend , I've got 3 out of 4 presents, 4th present is a gift card anyway - £10.
Need to go to card shop, noticed they are back to doing either 5 or 7 cards for £1 which were ok to be fair. Also need wrapping paper, usually buy a roll that can be used for male or female.
Heating has been off tonight. Think in all the excitement of the new year we've missed a meter reading, tut tut. It was on an awful lot over the holiday...eek.

Came home tonight from work and all I wanted to do was have tea and chill on the soda.....but instead I put the tea on and have sorted through 'paperwork' which I'd stuffed into 2 carrier bags and had hidden, but couldn't put off any longer. So that's all sorted now.:)
Had tea and I've just done our DMP review on line, so much better doing it that way. Feel so guilty when I speak to a human.Everything has stayed the same for now.:o:)
Have turned heating off. Going to do a load of washing tonight.
