RL is just getting in the way of me updating this diary at the moment.:rotfl::(
Quick update, Saturday night was a great, cheap night and there was loads of food. Spends £15 including buying raffle tickets.....although didn't win mind.
Sunday DS3 went to a birthday party, small spend on coffee whilst we waited for him. But have spent loads on food, petrol, Christmas presents and went for lunch today. I really must reign this spending in. Have done two extra long days at work so hoping things will settle down now.
Have done one lot of washing, it's all on the airers/airing cupboard and another load in......still got another 3 loads to do.
Received a letter from Bcard asking for me to catch up on missed payments(from when we only paid half earlier in the year), they'd like £110 this week and another £110 first week of jan......that isn't going to happen. Balance is currently £6440.
Hopefully back on track now.:o

Can't seem to get things back under control. Yesterday went to a Christmas fair, spent £18. Today DS needs his haircut, I need to get a voucher for a bday present £10, petrol, OHs work do tonight £20?!? And some food stuffs.
I've been waiting for a voucher to appear on one of the voucher sites, as I wanted it for a Christmas present, thankfully one has appeared on the email this morning, cost £20 but it's half price so a good deal and it's for 2 people so even better.;)
No sports club this morning, all finished now until the new year. DS off to a bday party this afternoon so he can let off some steam there.
Heating has been blasting away over the last few days, DS had a sleep over last night and I don't want anybody shivering over breakfast. Meter readings tomorrow will be interesting.
Housework gone to pot, washing drying everywhere, Christmas tree not up yet and trying desperately to keep the budget under control.
Hate to say this but.....roll on the new year.:o
Hope everybody is ok.

This weekend has just flown by:eek:
Did meter readings this morning, we are £36.91 in credit which means we have used £53.23 in 2 weeks, an extra £25 than when we didn't have the heating on:eek:
Yesterday spent £35 in @ld1, £31.58 in sburys, £20 on gift from voucher site, £6 DSs haircut, £35 petrol, £10 on bday voucher and took £40 cash out.
Out of the cash spent £22 last night at OHs do, have got £10 for DS bus fare, £5 for OHs football money and just about lottery money for this week.
Roll on Thursday....pay day.:o

Today was a NSD....such a shame I'm not counting them.:D
Have updated spending diary/budget we have got £34 left in the bank until Thursday.
OH mentioned he wanted to put to a 'collection' at work and asked if I'd got a cash. I told him just a few pounds left over from the weekend, he looked confused and said he thought we'd have it......looks like nothing has changed.:(. But I'm not going to let it get me down, just got to bimble on through the next few weeks, then it's the New Year.:)

Great news, OH is getting a little bonus. (How they can pay a bonus after threatening him redundancy all year and getting rid of half the workforce is beyond me but anyway.:o)
After much deliberation it means we can pay the house insurance in full and get DS his games console. Although I have mixed feelings about this. I/we should use all the money against the debt, I know that, and yes DS would survive without the console. Feeling very guilty......and confused.....and still deliberating.
Have just got to get a few last presents for Christmas and for a few birthdays that are coming up. Then there's just the food shop, definitely not going over board this year.
Had the gas/elec bill for the last quarter,£36 in credit.:)

Have just checked our bank account, OH has been paid 3 weeks money plus his bonus. I'm going to transfer the extra 2 weeks into another account so I don't get confused and will transfer it back on the days he would normally of been paid.

Thanks black cat. I've been paid today too so the bank account is looking great.....not for long, going to transfer my pay to another account as well. My pay has got to last until the end of January. Why do they pay us so early??
Yesterday got petrol, picked up few things from sburys. My friend with a c0stc0 card is getting me a few bits from there. Which will save me going, save some money and as I'm not going I won't be tempted to purchase anything on the list!!
Going to peg 2 loads out today.:)
OH has been given the @ldi voucher that was in the paper, £15 off £75 shop. Thinking when best to go.......not sure there is a best time at the moment!!
Spends today, extra on the lottery as we aren't at work over the holiday, out with work at lunchtime and last minute present shopping tonight.:)

I was absolutely chuffed yesterday, the washing dried a treat. DS got it in when he finished school (early) and it was practically dry.:)...........I am so easily please these days!!
Have left the heating off here and there over the last few days. Saving it for when we have company over Christmas. Keeping up appearances and that.
This morning going to peg another load out, then off to sports club. Need to get a few things from town, then must start wrapping some present......in case I've forgotten something.;)
Need to pay holiday club for DS3 Monday and Tuesday next week, £50. Also DS1 needs some cash just to tie him over for a few days,as he comes home on Monday.:D:j
Logged onto stepchange and we are due a review of our DMP, still would like to self manage, will see.

I have given up with putting the washing on the line:eek:
Some days have been quite nice but the garden is all muddy, the chickens get under my feet and I am bound to drop something and have to wash it again!
I am still not using the tumble dryer and instead am doing smaller loads every few days and drying them on the airer - so far I have managed it, everything is drying really quickly. It's like a game to keep up with everything and make sure all that is needed is washed and ready but so far it's working. Must save us loads of electricity.
Definitely getting rid of the tumble dryer in the new year.
I am also going to wrap presents this weekend - I have brought what I think I needed to but does not seem very much. DD's xmas list is full of tat so I have only got her what I think she should have - she might be disappointed:(
Have a good weekend.0
