Today was NSD 12, another load of washing dried and the heating still off.

Have set up a DD to pay DSs football subs monthly. The other sports club subs are paid weekly.

Looking forward to pay day on Friday, determined to get back on track.:)

Up to 13NSDs, new tin opener working a treat, heating still off and still pegging out.:rotfl:

Today I had to get petrol £30, paid childcare and lottery. Also called into @ldi as OH had been given a voucher (£5 off £40 spend)and he wanted to have a look at the biking stuff. Ended up spending £41, out of that £24 on biking 'stuff'........well at least he will be dry and warm on the winter. :)

DSs friends coming to tea tomorrow night (@ldi pizzas). No social events planned this weekend, just kids sports clubs.

Need to update spending budget/diary. Pay day tomorrow and then its the weekend. :D

I am still pegging out but think I am further south than you.

I was so happy this morning, I pegged out my dish cloths and hand towels last night about 7pm and at 6am this morning they were all dry:T (I know dish cloths are thin but the towels I was really surprised at)

Maybe I need to put more loads out at night??

I wonder how long my heating will stay off for????

My friend at school has put the heating on already ! I said no way until Nov 1st and she laughed and went home to tell her husband. Apparently he thought it a great idea and switched theirs off and told her to put a jumper on :rotfl: I wasn't in her good books the next day ;) we're still pegging out too! Challenge has begun ...who can peg out the longest and who breaks first on the heating :rotfl: I think I'll probably be first to break on the pegging out as nothing seems to be drying very quick! Silly small shady garden! ;)

Ooo I like a challenge :rotfl: so far so good, pegged out today (although the jeans did need to go in the airing cupboard). I'm certainly spreading the word -no heating on til 1st November. I've converted some of the folk at work too.:)

Yesterday was NSD14, think this is a record for me.:D. Today was a bit spendy, spent £4 at footie on sausage rolls and cups of tea. Had hair cut and blow dried £22 and OH has gone out tonight on a stag do. He's taken £20. I have major trust issues so we won't go there!!:o

Have done meal plan for next week, just need to pick a few things up tomorrow. Should have more NSDS next week.

DS2 is desperate for the new footie game that came out yesterday. He hasn't got the money for it, so he will just have to wait. Out of his football team of 16, 12 of the lads got it yesterday. Think he is feeling a little left out.

DS3 will need school shoes soon, he's wearing the ones he had last term as they still fit and had a bit of wear left in them, but they are just starting to wear out and I'm not sure they won't be water tight. I did suggest we put a puncture repair patch on the bottom....OH rolled his eyes.:D

i got my ds1's shoes repaired. cost £12 (less if your ds is not in mens sizes) and asked them to polish it up on their buffer machine and they looked as good as new. I made sure I avoided t1mpsons too as they've slowly but surely begun to take over all the small shoe repair businesses and I found a lovely man with a small shop who was much nicer and I know the money goes to him (sorry got a real bee in my bonnet lately about big businesses taking over everywhere!) . I'm getting my winter boots done next week too :)

as for the heating! well done for spreading the word :T I've tried and failed.....so far. I'll keep on trying though ;) can you imagine if everyone did it (bar the very old/disabled/very young) those big wigs at the top wouldn't know what to do with their fallen profits :rotfl: oh boy and there I go again moaning about big companies so I'll sign off now ;)

Still pegging out here thankfully because I can't stand drying washing inside!

:o I confess that we have had the heating on a couple of hours this last week though, epic fail - *runs away quickly before the telling off starts*

Thanks DFW, I didn't think you were moaning I totally agree about using the smaller independent shops. I would normally take DS3 s shoes but they aren't leather soles but rubber type material. According to the weather forecast he'll be ok next week as it's supposed to be dry again.

We must keep try to spread the word re the heating......extra jumpers all round. :)

Hi Dolphin, you can't beat a big of pegging out.:rotfl: Will let you off just this once re the heating.;)
