Just when I think we're back on the straight and narrow........today we received a letter saying we owe £350 tax credits as we've been over paid. It's taken over 3 months for them to decide that. I'm not even sure which period that is from.......I will check and if necessary pay them back £2 per week.

Anyway yesterday was NSD7 and today was NSD8. :)

    Xx

    :mad::mad::mad:

Or when you ring make sure you have no spare income and they can place a hold on your account for 12 months under hardship. Repeat the process in 12 months and in year 3 they will write the debt off.

Check the old award letters you have had and they will say whether you have had an Overpayment or not. Make sure you look at the dates that your son's were ended on your claim as this is what makes the biggest difference.

Ooo Thank you EE, I'm going to do just that (well try anyway!). I thought we had sorted out the overpayment re DS at college obviously not.

I've been on the some job websites tonight, mentioned a couple of jobs to OH but he's not interested, not going to push it. I need him to call about his car insurance and see if he can get the price down...... I've done all the leg work for him.

    Another NSD today number 9.:)

Yesterday I called into s'market, spent £12, just need the usual milk, bread, fruit. Tea was a quick and easy veg stir fry. Managed to get 2 loads dried yesterday so did the few things that needed ironing. Another load out today. :)

I've logged onto e0n and checked the account as we were due a bill. We are £39 in credit, total bill for the last ¼ was £203 (£124 elec & £79 gas), monthly payments to stay the same.:)

Have paid for 2 trips for DS2, £13 school trip and £24 football trip.

Tonight another quick and easy tea - pie and mash. OH going to cut the grass and we'll have a quick tidy up in the garden.......and have pegged another load out today.:D

    Need to book haircut!

Thank you DFW and brizzle, yep bring on the weekend. :)

Haven't called re tax credits yet. Looking at the dates I don't think it's to do with DS at college, so really not sure now. Still going to try EEs recommendation and try and get it put on hold. :o

OH called about his insurance but their computers were down so he has to call back. He'd better get a move on his insurance runs out on Saturday.:o

Can't believe its Saturday night already. :o

Car insurance - OH tried to get t3sc0 to match the t3sc0 quote on the comparison site but they wouldn't. He wouldn't/couldn't get them to reduce the cost at all so just left it to renew. The monthly cost will be the same even so had could of tried a bit harder.:o

Today I've been to the butchers and s'market. Need to break down the cost. Also purchased new pillows, £24 eeek! Got petrol £30.

OH isn't in the best of moods, not sure why. Looks like I'm in for a great night.:(

Have done meter readings, we are £12.41 in credit.:)

Updated spending budget/diary, we spent £79 on food yesterday.
The cupboards/fridge are full, had to get store cupboard stuff too but we do need to look for a bigger freezer.

    I've pegged 2 loads out.:)

OH still in a strange mood. I didn't say much about the car insurance, I fact I didn't say anything really, and he hasn't seemed bothered that we could of but didn't save any money. It's like he's lost the ability to show any emotion about anything.......apart from anything to do with the sports club.:(

Anyway I'm not going to let it get me down......I've got a debt to bust.:)

Hope everybody has a great day.
