  • Aww bless your DD EE, you've taught her well.:)

We've had horrible weather today. I've got 3 loads to do. Really not looking forward to having the clothes airers everywhere. :o

Still no heating and we've got candles lit instead of switching the lights on whilst we watch tv. Mind you I have got a fleece and scarf on.:D

Must try and sort tax credits tomorrow.

Washing mountain slowly going down. I have managed to wash 4 loads and 3 of those are dry and away. But dd tidied her room yesterday and put at least a loads worth in the basket  Sunday we had beautiful drying weather sunny with a light breeze, yesterday heavy rain and today fog. So I'll be hanging the washing inside, think I'll need to have the dehumidifier on as their is no point opening the windows to help with the drying as it's so wet outside.

Ds feet were cold last night, told him to put some socks on he was dubious then OH mentioned bed socks, ds has added them to his wish list. For now he can make do with his normal socks.

You're doing great with getting the washing dry BB. I'm always saying 'just put extra layers on'.:rotfl:

I had to get the airers out this morning, but text DS2 to put some of the 'bigger' stuff out on the line when he came home from school. All in the airing cupboard now and just put the next lot on the airers.:)

Still no heating on. Have lit some candles so no lights on either, and today was NSD3.

Still no joy with getting through to tax credit number.:o

  • Yesterday was NSD4 but today is going to be a bit spendy. Need to get petrol, pay childcare, works lottery and get some food bits.

We've done really well this week with food considering I didn't do a 'proper' food shop last week, had some right concoctions and the packed lunches have been a challenge but nobody went hungry. :) Made a jelly last night.....when the going gets tough I make a jelly.:rotfl:

OH's payday today, account looks very healthy until tomorrow when we pay stepchange.:o DS3 will have to have new school shoes this week, and then trainers next week. :(

Heating still off, clothes airers all over the place, haven't used TD but rotating the clothes from airer to airing cupboard to ironing pile. Hope to peg out at the weekend.:D

Heating well and truly on now, a couple of times a day but we have no tumble dryer and no airing cupboard so after drying the clothes on the airer overnight, the only way to get them fully aired is on warm radiators. I hate airing washing on radiators, it makes the house look so untidy. :(

    First world problems, eh? :o

  • Paid a full payment to stepchange yesterday so we're back on track. Yesterday we went to the pub at lunchtime, spent £7. Last night DS2 went for pizza to celebrate friends birthday, spent £15.

We've got £108 left in account, need to get DS3 some school shoes today.

Thursday got petrol £30 and called into m0rris0ns as I was at a school meeting for DS2, don't normally got to Ms, spent £17. Will do a meal plan today and then call into sburys for anything we need.

Must do some housework today too.

Hope we get to peg out this weekend.:D
