Heating still off.:)
Xx
I have had 2 big loads out today which nearly all got dry bar 2 hoodies and a pair of jeans which went on the airer. Did have another load ready but the sky was dark grey and we were forecast rain overnight so left it in the machine ready to hang out today.
I have recommended the heated airer to someone on Facebook today, she has 4 kids plus her and her DH, her tumble dryer has broken and she was moaning so I told her to put it outside as it's nice and get herself an airer!!
No heating on - yesterday it was 21c here and last night it was 16c:eek:. Woke up a little while ago and DH was missing - he had slept on the sofa for most of the night as he was too hot.
We are due the end of a hurricane next week so it might get colder then:(0 -

I think it's been unseasonably warm too. DS3 insisted on going to bed in fleecy pj's and bed socks, woke up sweating!!
Have got one load out and another in the machine. Think that might be it for pegging out if the forecast is right.:(
@ldi have got a heated drier on sale today, £29.99, not sure how it compares to the l@kel@nd one on performance and energy efficiency.
Have done meter readings, we are £33.66 in credit, have used £30.88 over 2 weeks.
Went to party last night, 2 soft drinks (needed glasses for our secret stash) and a G'ness came to £9.50:eek:, later found out squash was 50p. School boy error on our behalf.
Still need to purchase toilet seat and DS3s trainers.

Feeling very guilty this morning.:(. We had pizzas delivered last night (2 pizzas and 2 boxes chicken strips), costs £18. Long story how come but totally unnecessary really, very unhealthy and definitely not very MSE........well it's done now so will move on. Even if that money was nearly two thirds of an @ldi heating clothes airer!!
Money sorted for DS2s bus, DS3 no longer having tuck, my purse has 70p left in it so should have a few NSDs this week.
......and I've pegged out.;)
Hope everybody has a good week.

Thanks mummy, I know but I just feel so guilty.:o
Yesterday was a NSD, number 9.
Tonight I have spent nearly 90 minutes on the phone to the tax credit folk. Basically after a lot of number crunching, begging and pleading we are paying our £350 overpayment back at £3 per week. The one thing I did notice after going through our budget is that we should have more 'spare' money than we do. Time for action me thinks!! I seem to have taken my eye off the ball a bit.
Tonights tea was a bit of a mish mash, but have users up some odd bits. Got the candles lit , still no heating on.;)
I've booked some time off during half term, so that will keep the childcare costs down.:)

Called into supermarket on way home, spent £12.52. Tonight I've sorted out and filed all the paperwork, bank statements and the like.
I've just gone through the budget and the reason we seemed to have so much spare money on paper when I spoke to the tax credit folk yesterday is I 'forgot' about the payment to stepchange, what am I like?!? Doh, how, how, how did I manage to forget that?:(
Need to do a meal plan and shopping list. Going to order 2 more Christmas presents tomorrow.:)

Yippee it's Frday.:j. And I've got a whole week off work.:D
Yesterday got petrol £30, spent £21 in sburys (DS has friends staying over and boy can they eat!!), but did manage to get some reduced meat from sburys too so we'll eat like kings this week.......still need to do shopping list & meal plan. Mind you haven't got as many packed lunches to do next week, just OHs.
OHs work mate gave him a voucher for @ldi, £5 off £40 shop.
Last night also got DS3 new trainers £21, and that was the cheapest in the sports shop!! Also paid for school photo's, £14.
Got 3 loads to peg out tomorrow.:)
Still need to get new toilet seat.
Had a letter from c@pit@l, apparently they haven't heard from stepchange as to what's happening with the payment plan. They've threatened to pass the debt onto a debt collecting agency.......don't think that's a bad thing really.
Have a great weekend.

Morning Alice,
Hope you enjoy your week off next week, not only to have a break from work but to save on CC costs.
Yay to the bargains in Mr S enjoy being kings this week! I always enjoy not having to make packed lunches when were at home, also because you can give them more filling things such as beans on toast using things up out of the cupboard.
Enjoy the weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks mummy, think posts crossed this morning. Unfortunately I still have to pay half of CC cost to the childminder but heyho. Really looking forward to this week.:)
