The boys aren't serving in any war zones as yet.

The youngest -Ross in in Dubai for 7 months, and the oldest Alan, is at Blandford, going to Germany after Xmas.

They're both still hoping. Ross phones every day from Dubai, Alan doesn't say much- just that he wants to believe that his boy is still alive. They both feel terrible they're not at home out searching. I don't know what to say to them to make them feel better.:(

I don't think I have any pictures of them with Ruars on the PC, they're probably stowed in a box somewhere. I have looked at a couple of Ruars as a puppy, but it was too difficult, so put them away again.

I don't know what to say-yet again. There are so many lost dogs out there..but to me- there's only one just now. (Selfish I know and I hate myself for it)
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

I have Padstow, and that whole town /village is on alert as well.

You're rifght about the defeated feeling. My stomach sinks every time I have to leave there, as if I'm betraying him somehow. It's not a nice feeling.

I believe your DH is due home on Sunday sazz. A problem shared and all that. You must be wrung out by now.

You've done everything possible to get the big R back, I don't see what else you can do, apart from wait and hope for his tap on the front door.

Aren't the Rory Brigade here absolutely brilliant!!! :T:A Magnificent.
    I salute you all. :T

    'The big R' I love that :)

And Padstow- I agree with you a hundredfold! You are all just so wonderful. No words can describe it:T

He dying to come home Pad, he has been since the beginning, it was me that stopped him. He hadn't seen his mum and dad for 3 years-and I know how it feels to not see your son for a while-I couldn't take him away from that, it wouldn't have been fair.

It's been the most sad, exhausting, turmoilish (I know it's not a word) couple of weeks, and you're right..time to hand over the reins for a day or two-but I'm not going to stop searching. I think it's going to be kind of hard to let go even for a day though, I've got so used to this consuming every waking minute now, that I think I'd be letting Ruars down if I stopped.

It'll be nice to get a huge hug though-Seans 6 ft 7, so it's really going to be the hugest hug ever!:o

I hope you and Sean will go out and call Rory, I'm sure you will.

Padstow- you've been supportive and encouraging throughout, so you've been there- and I appreciate it no end.

A reporter from the Forres Gazette messaged me on FB, asking for a picture so they could run a story. They weren't that interested before, so the emails from everyone must have had an effect. A great big thank you for that. The DW in Forres know about Ruars, but now an even wider ciorcle will be looking for him.

I gave her the link to Beverlys blog as well, so she could have a look at that.

Another weekend coming up, and for some reason, I'm always more hopeful on weekends. Fingers crossed-as well as everything else.
