Thanks Thistledome. I submitted them in the early hours of this morning, just waiting for publication now- but the lost doggies one kept throwing up an error. so fingers crossed it went in.
Still no sign really, but we're concentrating on down the caravan park today, as every possible sighting has been down in that area.
Fast losing hope here. I know I shouldn't, but it's getting to the stage where I'm saying 'what do we try next?'
Anyway-I do think this thread should be made a sticky-well with my emotive stuff taken out, but the posts with all the ideas on it should be put as a permanent help to anyone who finds themselves in this horrible situation, although I hope they never do.Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Hi, I've been lurking and checking in to see if Rory's home yet.....Don't give up hope, I think its more than likely he'll be nearby people, so the caravan park is a good focus. It just needs a bit of luck with someone spotting /grabbing him at the right time. xxxAug 2011 £95500 aim to pay off Dec 2019

Don't lose hope Sazzy, he is out there somewhere & probably close to home in a familiar place.
I honestly don't know how you have got through this week, well I do. The fantastic help and support you have received on here and from local has got you through. :T
You know animals are very resilient, he will have found water without too much trouble which will keep him going.
Today may just be the day that he comes back!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

He's not on treatment for arthritis or anything, is he? Just thinking that if he is and he hasn't had it for a week, it might be enough to slow him down and keep him to the one area. Mind you, tiredness will have the same effect so fingers crossed that he is shattered!
I think you are right to focus your search in the area of the possible sightings. Give little Bruce a squidge from me - he is being so brave helping in the search for his brother!£2019 in 2019 challenge:£50/2019

There's been a couple of sightings at the caravan park hasn't there? (Bit lost now , the thread moves on quickly
). Just wondering if they have been around the same time of day?
If so, maybe you could get yourself a waterproof mat and a hot flask of coffee and hunker down for a couple of hours in that area?
Doesn't sound like fun but I wonder if you are just missing him sometimes, maybe he had just moved on again after someone saw him? If you were there just in the one place, (not walking about) for a while you might have better luck at spotting him?
I think the vast majority of us are all dog people sazzy, all of us like dogs generally, our own or someone else's. We know how we would feel if our mutts went walkabout so we can empathise with you.
MSE is very much a wee community all of it's own. Doesn't matter if we are all dotted all over the place, we can still share and support.
Keep your chin up pet, today could be the day. xHerman - MP for all!0
