Thanks you again( hope you don't get sick of me saying that)

I'm pretty sure he could find his way home from the river, it's a circular walk which takes us just past the cut off for the house. But if he's scared -I just don't know. The caravan park- again, I don;t know. We used to walk down there, but we would usually take him in the car to run about the beach

Almond- it's not a daft idea at all! I will try anything at all, and nothing is daft. Thank you :)

Chris- you have been a driving force on the group, and I can never repay what you've done for us. I hope you're right.. I'm going down later, and will go at dusk to sit and hope he goes there.

I've decided to leave Brucie with my friend. I think as well as scouring for Ruars, I need some thinking time, away from having to look after him as well, and keep him amused. I took him down this morning and he was running about like a looney (on a lead of course-having trouble letting him off it now, even though he only ventures about 6 ft away from me)

Fairy, no it wasn't a free paper, but most 'oldies' get it. I haven't seen a free paper but I DO believe there is a colour booklet with events and thinks comes every month. It's one of these things I don't really notice because it goes straight into the recycling, so I'll check that out, thank you.

Angela, yes, I've been taking his squeaky chicken leg down there ans sqeuaking like mad, as well as shouting on him. I'm so glad you got your dog back.

I'm sorry for taking up everyone's time, but everyone's been so kind and patient that I don't like anyone to think I'm ignoring their suggestions.

    Aileen

It's closed for the winter just now almond, no shop or anything. There are maintenance staff around, and they all have a flyer.

There are a lot of people about at the weekend though as it's so close to the beach. I'll be down there with flyers shortly.

    Thank you

I can't see Rory registered on animal search uk, although there is another dog listed for Nairn. Seems they operate a search and rescue team.

ETA. The website is free, searching is not.

I notice it says this might be covered by some insurance policies. Might be worth looking into sazzy?
