Thanks for more suggestions..
No schoolage children- both boys in the Army, and left home. But we have got flyers and posters in schools.
The local radio station wasn't keen at first- but they broadcast eventually after some group pressure. I emailed Autumn watch as well.
The forestry commision, rangers, delivery drivers, taxi drivers..and everyone else we can think of know about it, and have flyers. It's on doglost, and lostdogs-scotland.org. The dogpages one- I have registered but it takes 24 hours to activate unfortunately. It has been reported in 2 Northern newspapers so far, with another one on Monday.
Out of the hundreds of people looking now- surely someone must know something.Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

How about hairdressers? Mobile ones will see housebound people & salons will be good as customers like a gossip & I bet hairdressers know everything!0

Also have Vets & Rescues in a much wider radius been informed? I know say 50 miles is probably not likely but if someone picked him up who lives some way away maybe they decided to take him to their own vet?
Lorry drivers too! Businesses that use lorries like Walkers Crisps, Eddie Stobart etc? Some might be willing to keep an eye out or drop leaflets at greasy spoon cafs on the way? They get all over the place, I know he is unlikely to be trotting down the motorway but who knows lol0 -
I have already posted it on their facebook page but cant remember my log in for the site. Please try here, email Glynis who runs the rescue, they have people all over the country looking at the site. ALso lots of connections with other rescues.

Good luck xI wish I would take my own advice!0 -
what about football teams in the surrounding area? I don't know if any of the major Scottish teams are near you but could flyers be given out there perhaps? Or even at a kids Sunday league football area?
Have you given a poster to dog groomers, mobile or otherwise? Any National Trust properties in the area? Or what about district nurses, are they aware Rory's missing?0 -
How about a concerted sweep of the area with everyone involved, that should be easy. Someone in the group would organise it.
I still feel he is close by and probably eating bread thrown out for birds.
Apologies if I'm miles behind. I don't do Twitter or Facebook.0 -

Hi- we have a small local team, and they'll be getting flyers at their match tomorrow.. VERY small team, but still more people.
The vets/kennels/rescues have all been informed within a 40 mile raidus, and they have my number to contact too.
The groomers is part of the pet shop, and has posters too. I'll talk to the mobile hairdresser, although I'm sure she joined the group the other day
District nurses- I don't know to be honest.. would I just go up to the hospital? The delivery people round here all know about it, and have his picture in their lorries, and their office walls. His big handsome face is everywhere you look in this town, and beyond at the moment.

We need to try for TV coverage now. I emailed STV at the email address chris n tj provided, but no reply. Anyone have an email address for the BBC local news, or ITV local?
Any Scottish celebrities known to be dog lovers that could be contacted? If we could get something on TV it might make a difference. Or do any of the big supermarkets do grocery deliveries to rural addresses, like Tesco? Have the Coastguard been informed? There's a bird watching group in Nairn, have they had flyers? Even such things as slimming clubs, too, or ramblers.
Really praying for good news soon. Sazzy, you must be totally exhausted now. (((((HUGS)))))0
