Sazzy, another of the dogs on Doglost has been put onto the BBC website. Can you maybe do that for Rory? And what about the Scottish Daily Mail?

I already am ignoring them. I answered them once, and that's enough.

Please- don't react. We all know the truth and that's what counts. Maybe they want the thread closed for their own twisted reason?

You know something though? In an odd way this has calmed me down, gave me more strength to show people like this that we will get him back, and we'll have done it together. They're on their own obviously, and can't cope with friendship and people caring.

    Hi Sazzy

Thought I would let you know that everyday, I have been typing into Google "black labrador found" or "older black labrador found" or "male black labrador found" or any other orientation of those words I can think of.

There are black labs being notified as found, but sadly I don't think any of them are you Rory, but I think its something worth doing on a daily basis.

Lovely- thank you Jaquie, I'll try that too. There are so many things I would never have thought of which have been suggested on this thread.

The 'very' local paper just called me wanting a big story to publish on Monday (it only comes out once a week) They weren't interested before until it was in the Courier.

I'm hoping they don't have to publish it, and Ruars will be home by then- but everything helps. I pointed them to the FB group and want them to emphasise the support and encouragement of so many people from so many different places.

BTW- Thanks Mods, that was brilliantly fast!
