I've just e-mailed a Scottish friend - she lives in the borders but as she moves in the doggy world she will probably have contacts all over Scotland, I've asked her to forward the link to Ruaridh's doglost page to anyone she knows in the area.

I really hope the newspaper article works. And how kind of Network Rail.

Sazzybum, everything is crossed here for you, and prayers said last night and again this morning.

If anyone has a spare minute they could drop an email to STV news (Jill Mowat) Tel: 0141 300 3672 Email: stvnews@stv.tv. Worth a try we might just get lucky. xxxx

Thanks for that.

I sent an email and mentioned how relevant this story is with it being Armistice Day and sazzy's 2 Sons being away in the army. Also with the SSPCA's recent campaign regarding fireworks. Not to mention the internet pulling together - so lots of different groups represented in this story. Not every has internet so TV would be seen by loads more people.

I don't have facebook, so can the next person who emails Ms Mowat please include the link to Sazzy's Facebook page? Ta.

There was mention of a web cam in the thread, can't find it now. Is this the one mentioned?

Hi Sazzy, just another thought (but its probably already been mentioned)

Do you have caravan/chalet parks in Nairn, and are there any that are still open for business? If this hasn't been investigated yet, it might be worth popping along to have a word with the wardens, and then they might be able to do a caravan to caravan search to see if any holiday makers have taken in Rory.

Thanks Jaquie. Yes I've been down the caravan park a few times looking underneath them all.

I gave all the maintenance men flyers and posters to put up as well

my daughter is going to get her dad who used to work in inverness to post on facebook and i have posted on my page, have you tried bbc autumn watch?
what about local radio station? or even virgin radio , is they any phone in shows on bbc radio 4 were you could phone in ? as i said i have'nt read full thread but do you have kids at school ? if so what about ringing local schools asking if they can give it out in classrooms.
I got my second dog this time last year he had been thrown out on streets at 8weeks old and we did everything to see if we could find the owner since i did'nt want to fall in love with him and then have to give him back , we contacted local vets , pet shops and put a notice in shop were he was found but thank god nobody came forward.
I would ring local clubs and ask if they can give it out over the bingo , its only going to cost a phone call, good luck and will keep watching
