Guys- possible sighting. Just had a phone call from someone in Sutors Avenue- just round the corner from my house . Says she saw what she thought was Ruars in the street at 445 this morning, before heading off towards the graveyard. She watched him for 5 minutes and no one was with him.

oo sounds very likely, i'd think it'd be unusual for a lone dog to be out at that time, for it to fit the description sounds even more likely. How about putting something smelling of you in the graveyard where he was last seen? Could the SSPCA or a Vet or Rescue lend a dog trap you could place there with something smelling of him? I'd give my number to the lady who thinks she saw him & ask her to call if she does again anytime of night. Everything crossed here that sounds sooo likely to be him xxx

How about giving Avon & Betterware a call if they cover your area? Maybe their reps would be willing to take some flyers out also? Maybe not but it's just a thought x

I hope you get Ruaridh back soon sazzybum. Have just read this whole thread and it's heartbreaking, not just poor Ruaridh, but all those little faces on the lost dog web sites. So many lost dogs and so much sadness.

Fingers crossed that was Ruaridh in the cemetry this morning. In fact, everything is crossed here for the safe return of your old fella. Chin up.

meant to say have you asked the local bus company to keep an eye out, and also the Forestry Commission workers (if you have them around there).

Ive noticed Sazzy hasn't spoken to us for quite a few hours now, and im guessing she is following up that possible sighting from FB.

Im hoping and praying that at any moment she is going to post on here saying she has found him fit and well, and no worse for his experience!

I was thinking that myself...hoping she's out and hot on his trail and we'll all be celebrating tonight!!!
