There are some webcams around Nairn, one is at the A96 Dalnies intersection and there's one over looking the golf links, and another at Sunny Brae Hotel. Might be worth us all checking those throughout the day just in case the little fella wanders past. Just put Nairn Webcams into the search.

Could any neighbours be asked about CCTV they might have? And there's a disused oil place on my Google Earth, and a few castles dotted around...have these been checked?

Are there any local hang gliding clubs or similar that could possibly have a look over the fields from the air?

There's an Inverness Microlight club who might agree to keep an eye out when they're in the air and an RAF search and Rescue team based at Kinloss, near Inverness. Obviously you couldn't ask them to search for Rory but maybe if they're on manoevres/training they mightn't mind checking the fields out?

Worth asking, they can only say no.

    Again, thank you.

The one's on the group might know this already, but I just got a call from a lovely lady who lives in Inverness. She had seen our old lad in the paper, and just wanted to call me to tell me that she's thinking about us, and how sorry she was.

Now sitting with puffy eyes and wet face. All these people, who I can never hope to repay, caring about our old man.

I didn't even know those cams existed! Thank you, thank you xxx
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

So annoying to lose all I posted, but basically an old dog used to the comforts of home will surely be hiding close by. Please re-check your neighbours and call him in a non panicky voice. I know that must be very difficult.
Also, was the sighting thoroughly checked out? Old blacks are not so black to the untrained eye.

I don't think an old boy would be roaming the moors and crossing streams. I think he is close by and maybe shut in a shed. I hope I'm right and that he'll be home soon. Xx
