I keep checking this thread several times a day to see if there is any news! Like so many others, I wish I was in your area so I could help to search.
Stay strong sazzy, you're doing everything you can. The support and help you are getting from all these people is amazing.
You will find him and have him home soon, keep positive!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
You all must be sick of me thanking you all the time, but thank you again.]
Got another call from a Northern newspaper The Inverness Courier, and it reaches even farther than the P and J. They'll be running the story tomorrow.
I hope they don't have to though. I hope we find him today
I've just been looking at a missing dog website and the advice given is: "Keep the dog for a few days if you can, before calling the rescue centres or dog warden" so if that's the general advice given, it's possible he's toasting himself in front of someone's fire!
Let's hope he comes home as soon as possible.0 -
Still hoping, praying, and sending positive vibes that he will come home today Sazzy xx:A:A"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

My cat ran off years ago when we moved house. We searched for nearly 2 weeks and were about to give up when we found her... in next door's house, warming herself in front of an open fire and eating roast beef! Cheeky mog
The old lady who lived there didn't go out much and so she was oblivious to all the fuss, but she was happy to return our cat and we were friendly with her ever after.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
When my son found a dog last month he rang the dog warden, who asked him to keep it for a few days until he could get round to collecting it.
He kept it for 5 days...till it nipped his 8 yr old son! Then it was immediately taken to the RSPCA!0 -

They can turn it in to a good news story then, showing the power of community actionThe more coverage you can get, the better. If someone took him in they may still be unaware of the campaign to bring him home.

That's mad  A few days??? The owner will be frantic by then:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Too right they should print it. Showing what a group of loving, caring people can do together- even when many miles apart!
I can't beleive the warden said that! How ridiculous! Although the lady in the wardens office now goes out to look herself, so she knows how important it is. If anyone phoned- she'd contact me like a shot! She's been really nice, putting effort in on her own time.
ETA- I didn't mean I didn't believe the story, I do, just can't beleive the inefficiency of some authorities!Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

He has to be found soon even I couldn't hide this well! With every minute that goes by it's a minute closer to finding him, surely can't be long x0

Thank you for keeping me going. I know this isn't at all about me- and all about my old boy, but your support has kept me upright.
I have now publicised I'm offering a reward. I don't care what it costs anymore- things can be replaced. Ruaridh cannot-ever.
Hopefully the Inverness Courier will print the story to reach even more people, and someone, somewhere will have a memory of seeing him, or-even more hopefully- look at the old stray boy they found one day snoozing in an armchair, and bring him home to his family.Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. I look every time I am near the laptop, and hope every time there is a new post. One post soon will say he's home, I know it will.
