Wonderful comments have been made, a refection of how we all feel.
It breaks my heart every time I come on here and there is no news.

I'm not a religeous person, although it perhaps seems so from some of my posts but I do hope and pray with all my heart that Ruars finds his way home soon, like you say, to spend his last years with the family he loves and the family who have loved him so long. You all deserve that.

The old lad needs to be home with his family, we all feel for you as if it were our own that had gone missing. Please speed him home.

I will be praying for him on that date and time - there's nothing would please me more than to see him home again with his family

There was a bit of excitement this morning.. there was a dog on suffolk animal rescue, who is Ruars DOUBLE! Heart skittered into my throat, but after some investigating- it wasn't him. Honestly , friends, I really thought we had him this time.

However, this one had been rehomed and having a happy latter years, so :)

Sazzy, do you get Dogs Today magazine? From next month they are having a 'lost dogs' column and they are asking readers to send in details of their lost dog. It may be worth a go? http://www.dogstodaymagazine.co.uk/

I will light a candle on 5th November.

Fireworks have been going off in our back alley this evening. Luckily my dogs aren't too bothered (Bruno is nearly 15 and going deaf so thankfully he can't hear them properly any more). In fact fireworks are going off as I type this.

Got the damn fireworks starting here now too. I detest them. My dog Lucy becomes a nervous wreck every year at this time - there's no comforting her when she hears the fireworks.

My other dog Jack's not too bothered but poor Lucy gets desperately upset.

For sazzy the whole thing must be like her worst nightmare all over again.

Thanks for that link Smiley.. I read dogs today magazine every month. I've emailed them.

ZM you have no idea. I try not to cringe so as not to upset Zelda and Brucie, but it's so damn difficult.

I bought the most beautiful candle for him for November 5th. it's a big black one with a snowflake on the outside (he loves snow) and it changes colour as it burns. Was blubbing as I bought it. Got very strange looks in Sainsburys.
