    Here's the candles again.

Come on Ruars, show yourself lad, your mum needs you back so she knows you are safe.

I can't belive we're coming up to a year he's been gone. Some people think that I should be 'getting over it' but now-but it's actually getting harder. I talk to him and think about him every single day.

I just want to know what happened to him. I imagine all sorts of things-not all pleasant.

The fireworks have started again round here.. Brucie jumped a wee bit but Madam Zelda doesn't seem to give a stuff, which is a good thing. They're not bothered by thunder either which is even better.

On November 5th this year-I'll be lighting my candle in the window for Ruars, and all the babies missing due to bloody horrible fireworks.
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

You've shown amazing strength and dignity throughout all this sazzy. I don't know how you've got through it without going insane.

I pray the old guy will come home to his mum and still believe that he will.

It must be so hard for you Sazzy, I'd be going out of my mind if my old lad disappeared like that, you've been so brave. Luckily you have had the others who rely on you to keep you going and your family.
I wish so much that he would walk through your door one day as though nothing had happened.
It must be so hard to keep positive, its understandable you have black days.
I'm sure he's out there somewhere and someone is keeping him safe just hope and pray that he gets back to you soon.
Like you say, its the not knowing where he is and if he's happy and being well looked after which is the worry.
Please God, send him home soon.

    DD xx

I've been away and had convinced myself he'd have returned home by the time I got back.

I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for you Sazzy. I don't know how you're managing at all :(

    Thinking of you all xx

Thank you all for the continuing support- I don't know about dignity though-sometimes when the tears are running, I'm not very dignified. Poor Sean gets the brunt of it, with me shouting at him ''but where IS HE?'' .He doesn't know what to do with me when I get like that, poor soul!

I've posted this on Ruars FB page- and I'd value your opinion also, as you have been supporters of us since the beginning.

''I don't know what you think guys, but I would like Ruaridhs Army to light a candle on November the 5th at 7pm, in honour of Ruars and all the missing dogs. People may think it is silly, but if it gives a grain of comfort to all of us who are missing our gorgeous dogs (and cats) then it's worth it.

That time will be a year to the minute and day our old man disappeared from our lives, and it has never been the same since. It doesn't get easier, it gets harder.Wherever you are old man-please be happy xx''

Oh sazzy...that's so lovely. I will definitely be thinking of you at that time, as always, and hoping with all of my heart that you can hold him in your arms again really soon.
