Just sending hugs and hope you hear something soon. You are not selfish and I don't know how you have coped so well so far . Sometimes you just need to let it all out.

Sort of going off what zaksmum said; maybe speak to the cashiers in the supermarket? (assuming its a small local one and everyone knows everyone else). See if anyone has been buying petfood that hadn't in the past, for themselves, or on behalf of someone.

Over in N.I, our church youth group go out carol singing round the houses. Perhaps get them to lkeep an eye out/hand out leaflets?

Don't do that. :) A problem is a problem, it's no less of a problem even if someone else has a different problem which may be more serious in the whole scheme of things.

If you feel like rambling, you go right ahead. Told you before that's what this place (and us) are here for.

Most of us feel pretty impotant and aware that the only thing we can really do to help is to be here as support. It's a choice thing. So shut your face and ramble on. ;):D Iyswim. :D

Going away for a week now sazzy, and I won't have access to a computer, but I'll be thinking of you and Ruaridh and hoping with all my heart for good news when I get home.

Dogs have returned home after much longer periods than this, but it does look as if someone has taken him in. Maybe somehow they will get word that he is your dog, so don't give up hope yet.

Just an idea - a lot of people go to church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day who would not go to church at any other time of year. Is there a way you can get the minister to read out an appeal at the end of every service, or put a poster up outside every church in time for the Christmas services? You could use the ' if you have taken him in we are desperate to have him back for his Christmas Dinner' angle on the posters.

You, or a volunteer, would need to speak personally to every minister though, to make sure they understand how much this means.

xxxxxxxxxx lots of hugs to you, dear Sazzy xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good idea smileyt! Also how about community halls, anywhere that is likely to hold a Christmas function?

(((Hugs))) once again to you and Sean, sazzy. Still thinking of you, and wishing Ruaridh back home.
