I haven't been posting on here, or posting on FB too much-because I was accused of attention seeking (not on MSE I hasten to add), there are trolls in real life too. Evidently I should 'get over it' and let it all go now. You know, if dancing naked down the High Street in the snow would get me my boy back- I'd do it.

I am back folks, my BB hasnt b een working and I have been pulling my hair out.

Well I see we are no further forward in the search, I really hoped I might have come back to some good news.

Had a bit of a meltdown last night I'm afraid. I think it was because I was out with Bruce and the snow was hammering down. I was just standing in the middle of a field shouting on Ruars, and for some reason expected to see the big black shape trotting along the path, and when he didn't I just lost it.

I'm not going into work today, just don't feel able to. I'll gather myself today and go back tomorrow. I'll go round the 'old peoples' places this morning.

I don't want to appear negative in the slightest, but I've got this feeling in my gut and heart that I'm not going to see him again. I know everyone has been smashing at supporting us..but the thought must be in everyone's heads by now. If he's passed away- I still want to know..the not knowing is the killer. Poor Ross had a 'moment' on the phone last night as well which was difficult.

And there I go, rambling again..I feel so selfish as I know there's so many people with so much worse problems than this at this time of year.:(

Ramble away, although I cant begin to know how you are feeling sazzy I just know how I would be if it was me that this was happening too.

I rang most of the churches that I could find numbers for. I spoke to a lovely man as well which was a wrong number, I left messages to those numbers that had answer machines as well.

I could give them all a follow up cal though if it will help. I wish I could find out if anything was mentioned in the services.x

Poor sazzy as if you hadnt enough to cope with. As for the Churches I rang every one that i had the number for, if you rememnber i spoke to a chap (wrong number) who was lovely and said he knew all about our poor lad.

People have nothing better to do, if it was their dog then they might think differently. What is it with some people.

I am so livid, (bloody Virgin Media and no BB) I know you would have plenty of support here sazzy, I hope you are trying to keep your spirits up hard as it is.

So let me say that in all your posts, I haven't seen anything that's not true, as some troll here once tried to suggest. :mad: Nor have I ever seen any self promotion or attention seeking. All I have seen, is a dedicated pet lover who just wants her old boy Ruars home.

Take no notice of the sickos out there, and think of it as though you are performing a service. After all, better that they're behind their screens than persecuting people in real life.

Stay strong. As long as there is no bad news, there is still hope.
If Ruars is as we hope, residing with a lone/elderly person, we are approaching a good time. If that person is collected or visited on Christmas day, questions may be asked as to what a dog is doing there.
