Funnily enough Teacake- they bombarded STVs news facebook pages with requests yesterday to run the story.. But I know Chris, zaksmum, Pad, candy and a load of folk from here had already emailed them, and had been for a while.

I know in the grand scheme of things-it's not major news, but the pulling together of so many people to find the old boy, to me, is news. Think they prefer people rioting and fighting.

I haven't been posting on here, or posting on FB too much-because I was accused of attention seeking (not on MSE I hasten to add), there are trolls in real life too. Evidently I should 'get over it' and let it all go now. You know, if dancing naked down the High Street in the snow would get me my boy back- I'd do it.

I am back folks, my BB hasnt b een working and I have been pulling my hair out.

Well I see we are no further forward in the search, I really hoped I might have come back to some good news.

Trying to quicky catch up and read this, sazzy how heartless some people are, take no notice. xxx

As for running naked I will join you, and believe me that wont be a pretty site. xxxxx

    Thanks again everyone.

Had a bit of a meltdown last night I'm afraid. I think it was because I was out with Bruce and the snow was hammering down. I was just standing in the middle of a field shouting on Ruars, and for some reason expected to see the big black shape trotting along the path, and when he didn't I just lost it.

I'm not going into work today, just don't feel able to. I'll gather myself today and go back tomorrow. I'll go round the 'old peoples' places this morning.

I don't want to appear negative in the slightest, but I've got this feeling in my gut and heart that I'm not going to see him again. I know everyone has been smashing at supporting us..but the thought must be in everyone's heads by now. If he's passed away- I still want to know..the not knowing is the killer. Poor Ross had a 'moment' on the phone last night as well which was difficult.

And there I go, rambling again..I feel so selfish as I know there's so many people with so much worse problems than this at this time of year.:(

Ramble away, although I cant begin to know how you are feeling sazzy I just know how I would be if it was me that this was happening too.

    Hugs to you all xxxxx

Just an idea - a lot of people go to church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day who would not go to church at any other time of year. Is there a way you can get the minister to read out an appeal at the end of every service, or put a poster up outside every church in time for the Christmas services? You could use the ' if you have taken him in we are desperate to have him back for his Christmas Dinner' angle on the posters.

You, or a volunteer, would need to speak personally to every minister though, to make sure they understand how much this means.

xxxxxxxxxx lots of hugs to you, dear Sazzy xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I rang most of the churches that I could find numbers for. I spoke to a lovely man as well which was a wrong number, I left messages to those numbers that had answer machines as well.

I could give them all a follow up cal though if it will help. I wish I could find out if anything was mentioned in the services.x

Okay, now I'm being accused of not doing enough because some shops have taken down Ruars posters. And some churches hadn't been contacted-or saying they haven't.

Evidently I don't care! Great, just effing smashing! I know I threw myself open to accusations when I started the FB group, and posted on here (and again, I hasten to add, it's not on here the accusations have come from!) So now I'm attention seeking AND not caring.

I don't know what else I can do. People don't seem to understand I KNOW my dog, and if he was in Nairn- he'd find his way home.

What else can I do people? Please anything at all.

Poor sazzy as if you hadnt enough to cope with. As for the Churches I rang every one that i had the number for, if you rememnber i spoke to a chap (wrong number) who was lovely and said he knew all about our poor lad.

People have nothing better to do, if it was their dog then they might think differently. What is it with some people.

I am so livid, (bloody Virgin Media and no BB) I know you would have plenty of support here sazzy, I hope you are trying to keep your spirits up hard as it is.

I send you my thoughts, prayers and a big hug xxxx

Do you know sazz, I'm the greatest conspiracy theorist ever, David Icke can't even compete.

So let me say that in all your posts, I haven't seen anything that's not true, as some troll here once tried to suggest. Nor have I ever seen any self promotion or attention seeking. All I have seen, is a dedicated pet lover who just wants her old boy Ruars home.

Take no notice of the sickos out there, and think of it as though you are performing a service. After all, better that they're behind their screens than persecuting people in real life.

Stay strong. As long as there is no bad news, there is still hope.
If Ruars is as we hope, residing with a lone/elderly person, we are approaching a good time. If that person is collected or visited on Christmas day, questions may be asked as to what a dog is doing there.

It's ok boo. This is the second incarnation of a troll who was here 3 weeks ago-mainly saying that it was my fault, and that Ruars was dead basically. They got reported, they disappeared-knew it wouldn't be for long. Just put them on ignore.
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

So sorry that ruaridh still isn't home. Don't post here much anymore but still read it whenever I'm online. Best of luck to you and yours, and to Ruaridh. Fingers still crossed here.

    Ignore the trolls. ;)

Well, they get on your bloody nerves don't they. You're going out of your head (understandably so, I would be too), you don't need morons like that. Still as you say, ignore them then they won't get the response they want.
