I had a thought this evening, what about Reporting Scotland or any other 'local' TV news shows with the human interest angle from MSE again and people from all over the UK keen to help if they could / can. (Like with DIY SOS)?
(Sorry if this idea has already been explored, Sazzy and Ruaridh are never far from my thoughts and I was re watching the diy sos episode)

Funnily enough Teacake- they bombarded STVs news facebook pages with requests yesterday to run the story.. But I know Chris, zaksmum, Pad, candy and a load of folk from here had already emailed them, and had been for a while.

I know in the grand scheme of things-it's not major news, but the pulling together of so many people to find the old boy, to me, is news. Think they prefer people rioting and fighting.

I haven't been posting on here, or posting on FB too much-because I was accused of attention seeking (not on MSE I hasten to add), there are trolls in real life too. Evidently I should 'get over it' and let it all go now. You know, if dancing naked down the High Street in the snow would get me my boy back- I'd do it.
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

Where are you old guy, snuggled up by some kind hearted (but perhaps misguided) souls fire I reckon.

    Still hoping.

Okay, now I'm being accused of not doing enough because some shops have taken down Ruars posters. And some churches hadn't been contacted-or saying they haven't.

Evidently I don't care! Great, just effing smashing! I know I threw myself open to accusations when I started the FB group, and posted on here (and again, I hasten to add, it's not on here the accusations have come from!) So now I'm attention seeking AND not caring.

I don't know what else I can do. People don't seem to understand I KNOW my dog, and if he was in Nairn- he'd find his way home.

What else can I do people? Please anything at all.

Look sazzy, the thing about reaching out to a wide section of society is that in with the nice helpful people, you will also get the not so nice. It's like going fishing and coming up with an old boot in amongst your catch. It's of no use to you so you throw it back and ignore it. That's what you need to do here, just ignore the bits that are of no use to you. (I know it's hurtful and hard to do but I promise you practice makes perfect. ;))

Lol, I know what you mean ali, and I've been really good at ignoring trolls. The attention seeking thing didn't really bother me, as I said i'd dance nekkid if he came home -and THAT'S attention seeking (although I don't know how much attention I'd get apart from the local coppers). But the not caring? That seemed to strike a blow.

    But you're right..screw them. I know I care-which is what matters :o

Still hoping and I so long for the day I come on to find a big "he's home" message ......
