I was just wondering how each of us as individuals would deal with finding an obviously lost dog???
i did well niece did bob was 7 weeks old staffie and living on the streets, my niece found him outside a shop at 4am been to a party and needed hangover tablets, sister took him in and we did everything possible to find his owners, the people in the shop used to feed him but never contacted anybody about him being missing.
sister kept him for 3 weeks but decided he was to much work,
i only went down to collect birthday card and came home with him.
that was a year ago.
the rules were 28 days we reported we found him to local council,
police and shops had our phone numbers, never heard anything thank god.
my first dog jay was a rescue she was found living rough, i got her from rescue centre and a month later i remember one sunday morning getting a call saying the owner had come forward and wanted her back, i always remember mary telling me the women had 4 kids under the age of 5 years (made sense why jay was;nt good with kids) I refused to give her back and we had 12 wonderful years of her.0 -
Padstow has asked on sazzy's behalf that there should be no more posts about Ruaridh till sazzy says so. She needs to regain her strength and have some peace. See the other post about sazzy in this section.0

Hi.. I've been watching and praying (from New Zealand) that your dog is found too - its very sad.
On the twitter thing, get in touch will all Scottish celebrities .. i.e. Lorraine Kelly - I'm sure she would send a RT out on your behalf.. no doubt she has loads of followers who live around, close, in Scotland...
Any others people can think of? I'm sure they wont mind, its only pushing a quick button to reach thousands of people!0 -

I didn't mean to offend anyone by this. I just needed to have a night away from it all. I'm afraid it all got a bit overwhelming for me yesterday. I honestly thought we'd get him back yesterday because his daddy had came home-and when he didn't- I felt like just saying 'enough' I wanted to give up.
Another thing was, that it's not fair that you're all giving so much of your time and effort to this, and you all have lives to get on with. I feel so bloody selfish taking up so much of it in our search for the old boy.
Sean and I had a serious talk last night on how to go from here regarding Ruars, and because he wasn't here- he's not as disheartened as I am and-as everyone predicted-has brought fresh heart and enthusiasm into this house.
So- everyone, it goes on, but only if you want to. Again, I didn't want to offend everyone with 'taking some time out'
I hope you understood.
Stacey- you worked miracles there- they totally blanked me. The SSPCA have been marvellous and call me regularly. They've been trying to pressure MFR as well.
It's going in the Forres Gazette today so fresh hope.
Padstow- thank you.
Aileen
xxRuaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Don't think you've offended anyone hun! Completely understand how overwhelming this all must be, wish i was closer so could help.
Keeping all finger, toes and paws crossed for you. You're still in our thoughts. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Completely agree with gunsandbanjos, after all, some of us have been nagging you to have some down time.
