I havnt been around much over the weekend, have been sorting a little chap out with a new forever home.
I came on this morning hoping for news, which isnt here yet. Surely some one must have some info. I cant think of any other reason we havnt had some sort of news.
I am going to check through the whole thread again, see if we have missed anything.
Sazzy i am so glad Sean is back home with you, at least now you have a shoulder not just a cyber one.
Sending you hugs and remember KEEP YOUR CHIN UP xxxxxxRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. just popping my head round the door again ....or how about the camping shops, outdoor gear, walking gear sort of shops putting a notice on the door (that way you cant miss it)....someone may have seen him whilst walking the moors/forests or may find him whilst rambling. Or even better they may have found him and taken him in .....maybe its probably been done, as you say youve done the local shops - just thinking out loud....sorry!!!...:o0

Just back from another search
I don't know why- but I really thought we'd get him today.
Pad, the peat hills Glenshee etc) are about 60 miles away, although over the Dava moor, it's cut down by 16 miles.
I didn't hink of Xmas fayres stacey. Thank you. There's posters up in the big camping shop in Nairn..it's just down the road from me.
It's getting dark already up here, it's been dull all day though. I don't know what else to say really. I don;t know what else I can do anymore. Another newspaper with his story tomorrow, between them, the papers pretty much have a huge area covered.Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

I keep looking for other groups as well, every little helps.RIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. I know, it's awful how many do go missing isn't it? But if you read some of them it gives hope for Ruaridh...some are found ages after going missing.
I hate reading about the 7 day rule some of the rescues have though. Now that WOULD put me off handing a dog in.
The biggest mystery to me, is where are they all until found? I walk in the country everyday and have never see a lone dog.
Is it possible that lost dogs get taken in by someone, until the novelty wears off I wonder.
For the sheer number missing across the UK, one could expect to see dogs wandering everywhere.0 -

Sweet shop owners could put a small pic with details in every purchase. Thinking of walkers as Stacey suggested.
The thing is, there's only so much any one person can do, not only cash wise, but organising when they wan't to be searching.
sazz, if there is anything practical I can do, I'd prefer phoning people and posting, than computer stuff, just shout.0 -

I don't know what to say to you now sazzy. I'm just so very sorry this hasn't all played out with an 'instant good news' ending.
I can only imagine how you must feel at this stage, but don't give up on him, he could still be sat on someone's living room floor. xHerman - MP for all!0 -
Is it not just the dog warden who has the seven day rule then? I've seen that some of the smaller rescues take in dogs on death row. Or are you thinking RSPCA?

That'd be enough to make someone finding a dog to want to keep him, wouldn't it?0
