another lurker here. Easyjet have a flight at 08.05 tomorrow Gatwick to Aberdeen arriving 09.45. A bit further for you for picking up, but he would be home earlier than 3 or trains from Dyce at 10.23 and 12.08, use airlink bus, route 80 between airport and rail station.
Did a double take when walking my dog as an older black labrador (on a lead) went past.

Thanks Fruity- I looked and there's one to inverness tomorrow at 905 as well. He could maybe get that and get a btravel lodge or something.

Guys- I'm so SO sorry about this, after everything that's gone on the last fortnight, this is just the thing that's bringing to me goddamn knees.

Sazzy, we all know how much you need Sean home and no wonder. How you have held it all together this far I do not know.

If he is using the St Pancras/Euston route home it is quicker to walk between the two that tube it - they are very close.

But there is a train from Gatwick to Euston direct (think it goes on to Luton after that).

Please don't apologise sazzy, we all know that you need Sean home with you. Virtual hugs just aren't same, but here's some anyway :grouphug:.

    Maty, Auntie Jules, thank you.

    but...

HE MADE THE FLIGHT!! They weren't going to let him on but when he rattled out the story- they relented and said well ok you're only a minute over. The flight was delayed so probably be about 10ish before I go get him but

    HE MADE THE FLIGHT!!

Now, thast's one piece of good luck, here's hoping for number 2 eh? That would be the biggest luck of all.

And yes- once again, I'm bloody sobbing like a baby

:( Whenever I visit the thread I start at the end post so I'll know if Ruaridh's been found.

I saw the happy posts and thought the lad was home.

Reading back through, I'm really pleased for you Sazzy that Sean has made the flight and will be home with you tonight :j

but really bloody gutted because the other big lad isn't :(

Hopefully this is just the start of the good news! Fingers crossed Ruaridh senses Sean is coming home and comes out of hiding!

Made up Sean's coming home tonight. That would've been the last straw if he hadn't got on it. You've taken all the hassle you can bear, and more besides...you need to have him with you tonight.

You've held it together incredibly well - Sean will be proud of you.

Now all we need is Ruaridh to get his daddy's scent and head for home!

Did the coastguard guys get back to you?
