Please God let it be him. I was just telling my DH about it and he said when he lived at home (in London) they had a dog called Thrusty Dusty (don't ask :rotfl:) and he used to escape and one time he was away for 3 weeks. Someone rang my DH's Dad and asked him if he had a brown GSD as it was sitting in his car and wouldn't get out! So they do turn up in the end is what I am trying to say, albeit a bit long windidly.

Sazzy just texted - they has been up for a look just now and seen nothing and it now seems there is a lab lives in the road who is a wanderer so was likely him.

We went up there...but no answering bark, nothing. We were in the fields with our torches, and calling him.

I got a text while we were there saying that a lady up there has a black lab who tends to wander so... could have been him.

Thanks to the person that text me though, or I wouldn't have seen the post on FB until morning, and I wouldn't have forgiven myself that I hadn't seen it and checked.

Even though we're gutted, it still means people are picking these things up, and we might get him home yet

We are think of you and your boy, I do not post much here but I do check few times per day....
