- How do I keep coriander in a pot from dying on me after a couple of days?
and
- Is there any way of stopping basil plants from developing evil grey mould? Don't really want to spray them.
Thanks for any advice. I'm not very good with herbs in pots...0 -
Hmm... I generally fail with those too. Maybe the Greenfingered board can help you out with this one:-

I think that the supermarket herbs aren't really meant to stay in the pots in which they're sold.
I have more luck repotting them into propper potting compost, and a larger pot.
Alternatively, try growing your own. Corriander, especially is very easy to grow, and a packet of seed costs pennies.

Just a quickie.......Again I've cooked too much Basmati Rice ...........Question is , can I freeze it safely ?"Every time you feel yourself getting pulled into someone else's nonsense, tell yourself: Not my circus, not my monkeys." - Mark Borkowski.

Yes.
Frozen cooked rice is sold in supermarkets now for the 'time poor'.0 -
Sure. Cool it quickly and freeze it straight away.
Defrost quickly then be sure to reheat it thoroughly to at least 72°C throughout.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
