    CURRY SAUCE

I always store in fridge for up to 2 days and freeze regularly (make sure it's allowed to cool naturally first don't put in hot of course)
One day I might be more organised...........

Wait 'til it's cold, add some extra milk and whizz it in your liquidiser to make ground rice.

    Reheat when needed.

It works for me, honest :)

  • I have just bought a half price Leg of Lamb from Tescos:D and want to put it in the slow cooker.

I just wanted confirmation of a cooking time and how much liquid to put in. The leg weighs 1.144kg.

    Many Thanks in Advance

  • Try this thread, post 15.

You might get more response posting on that thread - it's for quick slow cooker questions.

Alternitively, the Slow Cooker thread, post 1019.

Searched and can't find what I need, DS loves jelly and wants it in his packed lunch box, I have some small pots but how long can you keep 'made' packet jelly and is there any nice OS recipes for jelly (wouldn't know where to start) that keep a while. Would like to at least make a few days worth and keep in fridge. Those pre pack ones are really expensive!

    Any help appreciated.

  • Milk jelly is highly favoured by some of my friends - sounds yak to me, though!

Alternatively, as a child, we had fruit jelly - fruit cocktail being best. Can't you see I'm a child of the 70's! Use the juice from a tin of fruit to make up the jelly, then add the fruit to the jelly and set.

I'd think these would keep for a few days in the fridge, and will probably freeze well.
