That'll be the search facility's quirk about capitals. Darn thing!
A search this thread using just fudge pudding finds it straight away. Basically while i'm trying to save money he's spending it - both debit and credit card.Has spent £1500 in 2 months?!?!?!
Hi jinky (not after Jinky Johnstone by any chance???)
Maybe you could do a comparison of spending and "discuss" what you have spent your money on. If you are the more sensible spender then it shouldn't take much for him to realise that you should be in charge of the money and he should be allowed pocket money!
It might help if you discussed your long-term financial aims - do you both want the same thing? If so, then he needs to do his part in helping you achieve them. If you don't - then you need to sit down and do some talking.
Sorry, don't mean to preach. got my "sensible mum" head on today."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Old age isn't bad when you consider the alternative.0 -
Does anyone know how long you can keep HM pizza dough in the fridge? I made some on Friday, and want to use it tomorrow - do you think that will be ok?0

I've kept pizza dough in the fridge for 3 or 4 days when I've planned to use it then for one reason or another not gotten around to it. It's always been fine. My preference would probably be to freeze it if I knew I wasn't going to be using it within a day or two, but quite often the best laid plans ......0

I want to make pasta tomorrow with salmon and prawns. What sauce should I use (want something other than a tomato base that we always have).
I don't have any cream in so can't use that. Will a parsley sauce go? or just a white sauce?
Just having a dim day and could use a push
Thanks.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
A fairly plain white sauce should be fine. It's easy to overpower prawns for flavour, but you could add a tiny pinch of garlic salt or some other herb or spice that you like too.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Can you freeze something and then safely defrost it within 24 hours?
I bought some chicken breasts on Tuesday, used two and kept the other two in the fridge till this morning (Thursday) when I popped them in the freezer. Now I've realised himself will want feeding tomorrow night - will it be ok to get them out again tomorrow morning and leave to defrost? Sounds daft I know, but I always worry about chicken...
Thanks in advance!0
