On my list of jobs before going away today is making a bread pudding so the boys don't starve in my absence and so that the bread we didn't eat last week doesn't go to waste ...

I have some wraps we opened but didn't finish - can I add them to the mix?

It's Delia's recipe, so no suet ... if that makes a difference!

Thanks, I've got it soaking as I type and looks as if the wraps are breaking down OK, might need to pummel them a bit ... :rotfl:

I'm making a chicken and veg pie tomorrow night, I thought I would make two and put one in the freezer. My recipie says to fill the pie with cooked chicken, then cook in the oven for 25mins. At what point do I freeze the pie before or after it goes in the oven ? and then how do I re-cook it ?

  • a quick flour/breadmaker question...........those of you that use value flour in the breadmaker instead of strong white breadflour.......i presume its plain flour you use?
and is it good for pizza dough and bread roll dough too?
going to try it-value flour that is-as another cost cutter!
