    hi

I started a claim back in may and received an offer on my lloyds credit card ppi on the 27Th of September. Im still waiting
  • Hopping Mad. Not at the delay so much but the hopeless inefficiency of Lloyds TSB. Got my offer letter only on 17th Nov so not long. Phoned today and spoke to a quite rude lady (and later her supervisor) both of whom could give absolutely no indication as to when payment can be expected.
I suggest we all resolve to make appointments in bank to pester someone face to face. That way they may listen.
My phone call lasted 42 mins before I got through then a further 11 mins waiting to be transferred to a supervisor.
This is scandalous. Can we all resolve to make an instore appointment and make a nuisance of ourselves. !!
I'm on the 'phone tomorrow to make my appointment. I shall not mention the complaint until I get there. I'll simply ask for a yearly financial review.
  • i send in a ppi complaint in july and got a letter on oct 11th with an offer of £1200, account details were ok on the letter and it stated "do nothing to accept this amount".

called at the end of november to check why it hadn't been payed and the ppi claims people said they had recorded my account details wrong and the money was "waiting to go out". they claimed to have sent a second offer letter but i had received none.

hmm - it just seemed so unlikely as the original letter had the correct information on - a stall tactic maybe?

the women said she had emailed the new details to the right department but couldn't give me a date of payment so call back in about a month if it hadn't been payed.

it seems to me they just don't want to pay out. sigh.

  • I must be an exception to the rule.

Made claim 12 weeks ago direct to Lloyds for £5k loan taken out 5 years ago. Was told it would take 12 weeks to reply. Got offer letter last week (just before 12 weeks was up) offering £2200 (nearly 50% of original loan).

Was told they would send cheque or pay into TSB account if I had one (which I do).

Pleased to say money in account today 1 week after letter received.

    I can't really complain.

Good luck to the rest of you.
