Made my claim on 14 June, im in the services and was away from 3 months. I get back to find no response from the claim at all. I ring Lloyds who tell me they sent the offer letter to my old address (moved some 4 years previous and i have been a lloyds customer for about 24 years). As of yet i still have not had an offer even though they say they have upheld my complaint.
Recent calls i have been told that they are working on my complaint but are unable to give me a figure since there is not one attached to my file and it is not Lloyds who work on the sum but another agency.
As yet i have not received any official documentation that they are dealing with my complaint, if i had not hounded them they would not have been in touch since they were sending letters to an old address.
Very poorly handled :mad:0 -
I sent in my forms to Lloyds over 2 months ago and have not even had a reply of an offer for my 2 cases, just the bog standard letter saying they have my cases and will look into them and will get back to me by Nov 30th this has passed and now i feel like complaining to the ombudsman as they are not doing their duty for me and i should be able to complain when others like you on this forum have at least been told you are going to get some compensation, i have had nothing. What can i do to kick them up the back side and get me an amswwer please.0

I have a complaint which was offered on back on august the 18th
anyone have offer older than that????
I still have not received 2nd offer yt with additional interest???
I am going to bank tomorrow and asking radio to come with me with offer letter... LLOyds should be taken to task over this worsening scandal0 -
it would not be a bad thing for anyone if we all boycotted LLoyds, cause a run on the bank and if it goes bust the business will just move to a better performing bank and if the country loses money then hey ho they are going to waste 100 biilion on nuclear armaments anyway... they cant manage having money so maybe it is time for one to fail and my vote goes to LLOYDS (disgrace)0

Just to add my 2p to this thread. My DH got his offer letter on 26th November and we were extremely surprised that he received his cheque about a week later. He subsequently banked it last Wednesday only to receive a letter from his bank (natwest) yesterday to say Lloyds had stopped the payment! :mad:Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
Over £40,000 mis-sold PPI reclaimed0 -
How about we start reporting them to the police?
After all they are now in possession of our money that they promised to pay back - surely that counts as theft or fraud or something? Most of us all have proof that they owe us this money in the way of offer letters?
Your thoughts are welcomed - and if this is possible then I will be the first to report them!!
I no this might sound like a stab in the dark but like everyone on here i am at my wits end!!0 -
I mentioned on the phone the fact that if we owed them about 10p on a credit card they would be harrassing us day and night, to which they replied "ah but that would be in a contract, this money is just an offer of goodwill that we've agreed to make"
yeah right, you chickened out before the courts forced you to cough up! No doubt if the case had gone through then the timelines for payment would have been a lot stricter.0 -
What would happen if I changed my bank account, and just didnt pay back my debts to Lloyds?? after all why should I continue paying them if they wont pay me what I owe?0

They would take you to court or whatever. Totally different ball game when you owe them money alas. Best just to hold on and then have the great pleasure of telling them to do one when you get the refund.0 -
I have a letter from the cmc that i used which i wish i didnt but did from them dated 23 August 2010 Stating they have received all my paperwork. On 12 October 2010 Lloyds defied regulations and decided not to respond to any more PPI claims so the CMC advised me they were passing on to The financial Ombusman.
In April 2011 my PPI got caught up in the judicial review. In august i received a letter back from my CMC saying my claim was upheld. Septmeber i received another letter with the amount and stating the have paid interest up to the 26th October 2011 and i should receive the money back then or around that date,
A couple of days after the 26th October no money had been paid. I contacted lloyds personally to try and find out what was happening and they said that there was still a back log and had said i should be patient!
They had said that it could now be another 4 weeks and adjusted the interest to that. Which would be the 23rd of November. Still Nothing. We are now in December. Contacted the CMC again who had notified me that he has emailed the CEO of Lloyds and will confirm within 5 working days the response if any.
It does seem to be a crazy system, as i know people with other banks have received within a couple of months and i am in over a year of a ludicris process.
I do not have a loan with a PPI attached to it so i just cannot understand why i should be patient when it is my money and the fact i have waited over a year!
Lloyds Tsb are thiefs and keeping the money as long as possible to ensure they get their christmas Bonus from extra interest that will not be paid back is just wrong!
Has anyone tried any other route just cant seem to get an honest answer from them?0
