I bought some quorn pieces yesterday but wondering what spices to use to flavour them up a bit? I was thinking of Cajun? Would this be best? I was going to mix a little with some oil then fry the quorn in it. Of course if anyone else has any other suggestions, that would be great.

Use which ever you like with quorn
The wonderful thing is that it takes to most flavourings to be honest
My favourite is to marinade it in BBQ sauce and then stick it on the George Foreman. If you want to do other stuff with it then you could just cook it with lots of herbs and tomato that comes out nice too
(and it's cheap if you use value tinned tomatos). Experient because to be honest Quorn is just SO versatile

I normally marinate it in yoghurt mixed with tandoori spice, leave it for a few hours and then dry fry it on a fairly high flame for a few minutes. I have that with rice and maybe some sort of curry. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

I tried quorn for the first time the other week, and was pleasantly surprised by its versatility and taste/texture!
i made a chilli with the quorn mince, and no one noticed it wasnt meat.
i stirfried the quorn pieces in a cajun spice mix, then bunged it into a couple of peppers and baked em for half an hour.
my other half was gobsmacked! (hes a hard n fast red meat eater!)
i found that the pieces went a bit soggy.....but stiffened up nicely when baked.
fab stuff!!!wading through the treacle of life!

Quorn tastes great in stir frys. Just add whatever you like, plus it tastes lovely.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

They had a promotion in my work canteen yesterday - got a brilliant recipie leaflet from them, but they have a really good web site (https://www.quorn.co.uk) with heaps of recipies. They gave me a sample of the most delicious mango thai salsa thing...recipie not on web site unfortunately and they did not give me a copy.0

I LOVE quorn and use it with everything!!!0 -
I do 'chicken' lemon & tarragon quorn
Saute as usual, squirt with lemon juice and crush up some tarragon in the pan with it. Yummy with salad and new potatoes. Or any kind of potato.
I also put quorn pieces into curries, though I've not used any for ages. I tend to use lentils and beans these days, rather than Quorn, as my partner is a pig-nibbler and dislikes Quorn. Likes the OS Lentil Lasagne though!0
