Yes absolutely. After a certain age it's not such a big issue because of mobile phones and you can communicate directly with your child, but under 10 I'd want to know and hope that I'd be kept informed.Pants0

I would want to know where/when/with whom before agreeing. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

The only time I could think of when this might not be a straight forward yes is if the parents are seperated, I don't think either parent should have to report to the other parent what the child is doing whilst in their care.0

Depends who it's with. If it's a dad/mam or grandmother, then no not necessarily. I used to take my granddaughter out, but we didn't always know where we were going, the decision was often made "on the hoof". But I do have a mobile, so was always contactable.0

Not really - as long as they're safe.0

In general yes...but specifics probably notMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Is there any particlar reason why she won't tell you?
I have to say, if my Mum or Dad said they were taking my little one out but wouldn't say where, I'd be confused and annoyed.
If they had him for the day and took him out on the spare of the moment, that wouldn't bother me.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I dont think you are being unreasonable. Apart from anything else you would need to know, so you can dress them appropriately, eg, soft play, shopping sea side. I think that the children are very young, and as a parent you have a right to know, and veto if necessary!!
What does your oh think?
