Thank you Collect plus I have sent an email to you.
My buyer has received no card and no contact from you and I feel soon that I will have to refund as it has been well over a week. The tracking is still stuck on 'attempted delivery made' but that tracking is unlikely to be correct as it was placed retrospectively and only after I had it confrmed that for some reason parcel never left the buyers local depot.
I've got another item to go today where buyer has chosen Collect plus- but I emailed yesterday and asked whether they would allow me to upgrade to Royal Mail at my own cost as I am a little nervous of Collect plus at present- and it is now going RM this morning. I cannot fault your prices or the ease of printing off the postage labels- but I am not used to my items just disappearing with strange tracking details entered that don;'t appear to match what is actually happening.
I'm sure I have just been unlucky and that others here will now reassure me that I should attempt a courier again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. UPDATE:
Just spoke to Llandudno Depot, the tracking number is not correct apparently, mine starts with an R and it should start with an A or a B. There is nothing at all on the sytem for the buyer postcode and they also checked mine just in case.
Nothing is showing for the buyers address on a manual search.
So, my parcel has now completely disappeared so back to Collect plus by phone I supposeI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ahh so glad I stick writh RM and PF. They may not be the cheapest they are not perfect but in my experience I have had far less problems than on the times I have risked a courier.
Hope your parcel reappears Soolin.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

I just thought I'd say that I use them an awful lot. My first experience was bad, it wasn't collected (from the store). The person I spoke to was very courteous and helpful. It was collected the next day and they gave me a free delivery because of it. I was wary to use even the free one as I use it for my business as one of the delivery options. However, times are tight and a free delivery is money in my bank which is needed so I gave it a go on a non-urgent order. I did however use a different shop to drop it at.
To my delight it arrived in good time. Slowly I started to use them, waiting for the next problem. Over 50 more parcels since I haven't had another problem. It's incredibly convenient for me as I can drop off when I want to which when running a business with two children is a real bonus.
I have used just about every courier there is in the book for my business. I rate UPS as the best, but they charge. I find City Link pretty good but they are a bit more expensive than Collect Plus and they collect - although they do next day delivery. Every courier I have used has mucked up at some point or another. UPS always settle things really quickly when there's a problem, but again their service is more expensive.
To some extent you get what you pay for, but I have to say I am very happy with Collect Plus since my first bad experience with them. And many of my deliveries have arrived within three days. A lot depends on how regularly they collect from your shop. I'm not saying people won't have problems, many clearly have, but I find that people spend time to let it be known when things go wrong but rarely express when things go right so I thought I would!0 -
A few days ago I sent two parcels through them. Now here is a funny thing. The tracking info provided by them showed that the parcel got delivered to the recipients at 11 pm midnight! Thing is they didnt deliver the items at all and tracking info showed item was delivered at 11pm midnight! What a joke! Worse their email service doesnt respond to your queries. I sent them an email yesterday morning and I am yet to receive a clarification from them and neither have the parcels being delivered to the recipients! I called their call centre number and was put on hold but I cut it off as its an expensive premium service number [0845 something] I originally used to send my items through royal mail but they charge a lot for heavy goods plus if your contents are expensive and want insurance then you have to go infor their next day delivery service which is very expensive. Collect plus's offer of 4.99 for 5 kgs with 100 pounds insurance seemed interesting and reason why I took a risk and went for it but now I am worried as more than 5 days have passed since I sent the item and neither have recipients received it and neither have collect plus sent me a reply so far0

My parcel was found and safely delivered over a week after I sent it.
However my buyer is adamant that until the parcel arrived they had had no other contact from the courier at all, no card no missed delivery- nothing.
Two or three other things I have sent this week I have sent Royal mail at my own cost (I have contacted the buyers first though) as I lost confidence a bit. However I do have a Collect plus item to go tomorrow or monday ( as soon as buyer pays) so may risk it again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
