What a weird statement so they are sorry about problems and have a jolly time monitoring forums but aren't actually going to do anything about these invisible collect plus agents? That s what uty sounds like anyway.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Bother. I had two enormous things finish Thursday and offered Collect plus on both as well as Royal Mail standard parcels (about twice as expensive). I sent an invoice showing Collect plus as the default service- and both buyers have paid this morning and opted for Royal Mail. One of them has even left a note saying he has paid the extra for Royal mail as he won;t use anything else.
I'm going to have to find more heavy things to sell now- I'm quite determined to use Collect Plus now i have found a shop that does it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. just remember, you can't send anything bigger than roughly 50x30x300

One of the items I sold on Thursday I wrapped extremely carefully as well to keep within the limits as it was actually 3 cms over- so I had to fiddle around cutting down the packing box. I was a bit put out when they opted for Royal Mail- but hey ho, as a buyer I prefer Royal mail as well although I'm not sure I would have paid so much more for the privelege of using it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I sent one that was 5cm over, they don't care that much, it's just a rough guide0

Well I finally had a buyer agree to Collect plus, so I used it for the first time this morning. According to the tracking it was picked up from the local shop at 11.33am.
Parcel was just over 2kg, so Collect plus quoted £4.99 less I found a £1 discount. Normally it would have gone standard parcels for £7.62. Hopefully this goes well as I have other boxed and ready items to list that go just over the 2kg.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. i regularly use collect plus, and have never had a problem, i like the fact that you can drop your parcels off up untill 10pm in ours,no standing waiting at the post office, i usually send parcels that weigh over 1kg with collect plus £3.99 plus tracking is excellent in my opinion, and you can send up to 5kg for only £4.99 as long as it is within the size constrants, but still have to go to the dreaded post office and stand in line with my smaller items, only going to get worse in the next few weeks0
