Just go to the removal link that I sent to you earlier. There was no problem with posting your link. Just I did not want you to post your Activation Key.0

I ca send you a link to the disc later. But really it isn't necessary, as you can simply burn that .exe file to disc.0

Hi, thanks. I wouldn`t have posted the key.
Just waiting for daughter to come back and then we`ll have a go. I hate doing stuff like this as worry it will go wrong then I`ll be left with nothing! So all I do is click the link you posted, and that will do everything for me? I`m very grateful for your patience and help.0 -
So to reiterate, use the link in post #16 to uninstall the old version and then reboot. Post here is there are still parts left, including the Starter version. We'll get rid of them manually.
Just use my link in post #31 to download the Office 2010 executable. No need to download any silly 'Delivery Client' as advised by Software4students. My link is direct from the Microsoft distributor. Your activation key is all that you need.0 -

Get on with it. Don't be a wimp. There is no chance of ending up with nothing. We have it covered. Let your daughter come home to a surprise.

This is really scary.
I`ve done the first part and just looked on programms - 2 of them have gone but it still says Microsoft Office 2010 - 28/3/2011 - 6.3MB is this ok or should it have gone as well?0 -

You can uninstall that from Control Panel > Programs >0 -

Done that, do I now go to the other link? When I use my activation code will Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus all load (even though its in 6 bits on the software4students email)?
Need to be sure I`m doing it right before I start pressing any buttons....0 -

Reboot if necessary and when you are sure no parts of Office 2010 are left over, download and save the file from my link. It is exactly the same file, but just in one piece.
Once it is fully downloaded and saved, you can double-click on it to begin the install and then enter your activation code when asked. That's it.0
