I use the 64-bit and for day to day word/excel/powerpoint its fine. So unless you want to use add-ons then it doesn't matterTech Savvy Student trying to help and learn

Thank you both, have just got in so as soon as we`ve taken the dog out we are going to try and get it installed.
Is it easy to remove the free trial that was on the computer when I got it? I think this is the first thing we have to do. I`m assuming it will be under programes, would you know if its all packaged as one thing or are there are different parts I need to remove?
Thanks again, much appreciated.0 -
I've just installed the 32bit version of Office 2010 on my Windows7 PC and laptop. I too was worried about it only being the 32 bit version but I phoned them up and asked them and they said it was ok. I received the disks in less than a week and everything installed and working fine.0

Hi, well done..how do you fancy coming round to do mine! I would have preferred the discs but now have the download (I`m sure it will be fine)
Did you have to remove any existing programmes?0 -

Here is a simple solution for you.
As to having the discs, you can download and create them at any time. The most important part is the Product Key.0 -
Thanks, have saved the link for later.
When you say I can download and create discs any time - do you mean I can do this from the stuff software4students has sent me? As you may have realised I am very much lacking with regard to anything technical!!0 -

No, I didn't have to remove anything, I just put all of it on, it was really easy, (it would have to be easy for me to do it! although i've still no idea what Microsoft Lync is!) Good luck.0
