Currently L-BB, XL-TV, L-Phone £47.20 going up by £4.10. Phoned retentions to cancel, told on the best possible deal so went ahead with cancellation. Hoping to get BB only, with new SKY Ent+ (£25/month £100 Quidco & £100 M&S) and Vonage VOIP (£6/month +£19 set-up)0

Removed Virgin TV from my account today as gone back to Sky.
But got this deal with a new contract, L Broadband and L phone for £22 a month, which I'm happy with, as broadband in my area get's doubled soon, so will be 20mb. which is more than enough. This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -

hi
i just got the following deal:
tv m+
bb L
phone line M
The bundle works out £20 per month and Phone line is the standard £13.90
Its an 18month contract
£100 cash back from simplify digital
£50 cash back from virgin
They also offered 3 month free for the bundle so i have worked out the following:
£13.90 x 18(months) = £250.20
£20 x £15(months) = £300
total=£550.20
-£150 cash back
=£400.20 divide by 18month works out to be £22.23 per month.
the activation, installation, box and router are also all free.
Does anybody knows how much i can get a second box for or even the tivo box -when i signed up, they said i could get the tivo box for free and just have to pay £3 a month. Does anybody know how much a second box is please? or if i can get the tivo box any cheaper as a new customer?0 -
Hi everyone,
WE've just switched to Virgin Media and so far we think we've got a brilliant deal.
We also did the 3 months free and £50 credit thing, so have got
TV XL
Broadband - 50MB
Phone - Unlimited weekend calls
Tivo
Plus Spotify premium free for 6 months.
Comes in at about £48 per month after the discount months.
One good tip is if you ask either the 50MB or 100MB broadband you get the better quality router, and apparently you can then downgrade this to the smaller broadband packages once the 3 months free is up and keep the router - apparently, but we will see!
Having gone from Sky with sports and movies, and orange for our broadband (which was TERRIBLE!!!!) it's been an absolute dream. Tivo is fantastic, and it's great to have HD at no extra cost, unlike the £10 per month Sky wanted from us! Ridiculuos!
Looks like some people have been unfortunate and had customer services issues, but can't comment yet on this because we're so new to it. So far definitely recommended by us all!!! Love it! :T0 -
I got them to waiver the £4.50 price increase, double my broadband (again), and credit me £20 for just moaning a bit about the picture quality of some channels.
So Im,
XL Telly,
XL BB,
L Phone with free weekend and evening calls,
Multiroom,
V HD
V +
For £56.40 (when you factor in the £20 credit)
PLUS - many people in my area have been getting free tivo boxes because the V+ is outdated and causing a lot of problems. So the engineer is coming this week,0 -
I phoned up Simplify Digital to change my Broadband and TV services back to Virgin from Sky. They lied and said that they could change all my services over when they knew that they would not be able to change the fibre optic cable that brings the Broadband into the house to their older broadband without a telephone line so I ended up getting Sky and Plusnet. Not very economical.
Simplify Digital offered me
TV Size M+ (with V HD box) & broadband size L, Phone Size M
this would cost £0.00 for 3 months then £20 per month
Line rental (payable to Virgin Media) would cost £13.90 per month so
total cost for first 3 months would be £13.90 then £33.90 per month
They also told me that there would be NO activation costs, I would pay £25 now but that would be refunded and that once I had been with Virgin for 90 days I would get £100 back from them.
All this is in writing in an email from Simplify Digital
I just got my first bill for £92.75!!! I looked at it only to find that I was being charged the full amount of £33.90 for the first month, £33.90 for the second month AND an activation charge!!! Phoned Virgin and shouted at them to get them to make the reductions promised but dont believe all you hear about Simplify Digital. They are not good0 -

Why are you shouting at Virgin when the information you have based your purchase on is on a third party site?0 -
