I went through with my 30 day disconnection notice, was called back by outbound retentions offering me a new deal as itemised...

At the moment I have broadband with virgin £21.50 per month and tv with sky £24.50 per month, so I am paying £46 and the majority of the time we don't watch much of the sky (mainly kids channels!) So I rung virgin (retentions) Friday to say I was thinking of moving my tv across and could they do me a deal. Anyway I have got the following:
TV xl with virgin+
Phone line M
Internet M (soon to be 20meg from July onwards in our area)

All for £40.90 per month, saving £5.10 x 12 = £61.20 which is better in my pocket!

And when the deal comes to an end in 12 months then it will be time to haggle

£43 per month, they were going to raise the cost when my loyalty discount expired in December so I phoned and got another loyalty discount but not sure I got a good deal?

30 meg broadband unlimited phone £36.90 a month ,I have sky tv discounted to £15.00 a month but that comes to an end soon ,contacted virgin about tv service they want £25.00 a month which I refuse to pay that's for the VH-d it's £ 28.00 for tivo NO WAY will I pay that:mad:

i have three services with VM

Phone and Broadband the contract expires Feb 21
Also Have Tivo the contract expires in september

Can i cancel the Phone and broadband ?
Or is the Broadband linked into the Tivo ? I.e. if i cancel the broadband i will lose some functions of the Tivo ?

Just called VM and upgraded to Tivo with free installation and activation, M Phone, L Broadband and XL TV (plus V+ box moved to other room free), all for £39 (a reduction of £7 off my last package!!).
