Best way to get the Iphone 4S?

If you're going to go for the S2 (had one since they came out - it's lush - even my iPhone-owning friends say so
) then it's possibly worth waiting a few week as the new (Samsung) Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich are about to be officially announced meaning that you might be able to pick up a 2nd hand S2 off ebay from a sim-free upgrader or contracts prices from the networks for the S2 could get cheaper. The S2 *will* get the update to ICS from Samsung.
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
I will definitely not be having another Samsung Galaxy, thats for sure. Regardless of what the S2 is like, I have learnt my lesson!
pcyuljr, I think I will ring Voice mobile to see if they can do any other tariffs. The texts are way too low for me, I know you can pay and extra £3 on top of the £30 for another 250 txts, but I really want to try and keep it to £30 maximum a month. I would never use that many minutes, so I am hoping they can chop and change, but we shall see!!!
Vodafone sent me my PAC code last night so I am all ready to go!!
I will keep you updated!0 -
how do you get iphone to get unlocked after the contract expires .. do you still need to pay a small cost?0

What do people think of the One Plan on Three?
24 month contract, 2000 Minutes, 5000 Txts, 5000 3 to 3 minutes, All you can eat Data £35pm with a handset charge of £99.
However, you get £115 Quidco if you go with a One Plan?
Any good or not?0 -
I've been considering the One Plan myself, but I'm wary of Three's reputation for poor coverage and customer service. They appear to have good coverage across most of Edinburgh, but little or no coverage out in the countryside where I spend a fair bit of time.
I'm currently with O2 and considering leaving thanks to their shambles over the 4S. But their coverage is decent, and customer service has always been brilliant.
I was planning on going with Tesco as their 12 month deal looks good value, but who knows when they'll actually have any stock.0 -
I realise that the Tesco option is only 12 months. But unless you are a big techno addict, I would expect the 4s to still be a top quality phone 12 months down the line and you probably wouldn't have a want to change to the (no doubt) Iphone 5 on a bigger contract. Personally, I always think 18month contracts are ideal (savings on monthly cost compared to time to change phone) but 24 is no real biggie.
Can't you just then switch to a sim only after the 12 months are up at a much lower cost?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Orange also do a 25% off line rental under Orange Perks. All emergency service staff are entitled to this discount, however....... Orange have been really sneaky. Under the terms and conditions of the Orange Perks discount, it says its available on all Iphone plans, but seems that if you go into an Orange store and request the discount and choose the Iphone 4s, they are saying its not available on the 4s due to poor stock!!!!!!
I did ring customer services last night and they say it is available instore, but seems that stores are saying different. The store did however say that it is available on Iphone 4 and any other phone in the range!!!!0 -
