Cancelled Sky - Will They Offer Me A Deal?

once you have started the cancellation process you may or may not be contacted by the winback team who have better offers that the retentions (cancellations) department, it's luck of the draw whether you are contacted or not. Retentions teams have the 25% deals off the TV, free line rental etc etc winback have the 50% deals off the TV - some of the teams in retentions have no offers (it's a pilot that sky are trying out) so that is why you may not have been offered a deal when you called to cancel, it's luck of the draw if you are put through to the "no offers team"

Must be 4-5 months since we cancelled Sky, only miss being able to record programmes, that said not wasting anytime playing catch up watching the stuff (& crap) we'd recorded !

Received another mailing offering half price this weekend.

They rang me a month after I had left them and offered me Sky Tv (what I had) for 12 months at half price, I told them they were too late as I'd been out and bought a freesat box, I did call them before the end of my cancellation period to check to see if they would offer me anything and they said no.
