Is that why a lot of websites are comparing iphone 4s to proper cameras.
    Such as the link below:

    Or try seraching google.

As you fear to answer the questions asked then it seems it is pointless debating with you, you mention google, so you will soon find which handsets set the standard for camera/phone , in the meantime, a pic taken with a Satio, bit ironic as there is no sting in the tail for you :D

I could compare the iphone 4s to the hubble telescope, doesn't mean its the same. And if you read that article it reports along the same vain, not to mention the comments from other more objective consumers at the bottom.

The Iphone 4s camera is good, but its just "good" it hasn't re invented the wheel.

Heres an indoor photo, with flash. As you can see , its not too bad, but its hardly DSLR

Plus its made by sony :T:T

Same photo on a Cannon SX220 same settings

  • I want a Windows Phone, bored of Android now. Is WP any good? Have always hated Apple stuff so wouldn't go near them.

Been using one for a year now. Felt a bit limited when I first got it but MS seem hellbent on making it a real alternative to apple and android. It's been updated twice now in the last year.

It's quite unique and the design of the OS is, at times, absolutely stunning.

There's less apps that apple and android but 95% of the main apps are there and plenty get added every day.

One of the main points about WP7 is that it's similar to apple and can't be customised much. However, this does have advantages because this means everything works! So there's so downloading of a app to find that it doesn't work or worse it !!!!!!s up your phone. Even when you've got lots of things on the go at the same time the phone's interface remains very slick and fast - no stuttery visuals! Also the phone boots up incredibly quickly - much faster than IP4s and GS2.

    I strongly recommend WP7

This also means the phone is

Do proper cameras rattle when you tap them?

Well it is Windows so I suppose you'd be rebooting it more often ;)

From the BBC business section: Samsung overtakes Apple in smartphone sales

    Ooops...

Samsung sold about 40 different models during the quarter. By comparison, Apple had just two — the 4 and the 3GS.

Which means Smasung caters for the consumer's market, not expectthem to take from a very limited choice.
There was talk of a budget Apple handset, don't you think that would sell very well?

WP is very slick and the Metro interface is nicely done - however MS have also taken the opportunity while they were writing their new OS of pretty much locking the thing down and imposing hardware requirement - unfortunately no support for external memory cards... As a result, I've had to switch to Android after many years of happy WinMo ownership (and tinkering!)
Thats the issue - tinkering ! WP7 partcially runs & formats from Micro SD so there is no MSD slot but its on the motherboard with a MSD intact.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

My 3GS needed a reboot several times a day, my new WP7 has not needed a reboot in 4 days ;)

Apple caters to the consumer market, but a much smaller section of it than Samsung. Whereas Samsung has a broad range of devices from the ultra-low end to the ultra-high end, Apple has devices only in the upper-mid tier and high end. Naturally, Samsung are bound to generate larger sales by targeting more groups of people. A budget Apple phone probably would be extremely popular (it sounds like the 3GS could be just the ticket here) but it seems that for the most part, Apple aren't currently very interested in catering to this particular segment of the market. And you can understand why they aren't since focusing solely on the high end has rocketed Apple to be the most profitable mobile phone company on the planet. It's a winning formula and it looks like for the most part, they are sticking with it.

That sounds like a terrific amount of rebooting for any modern device. I'd expect to go a few weeks between reboots on a modern smartphone.
