I just called apple care, as soon as i said battery he knew what i was talking about (its draining too fast, lasts 4 hours only on standby). Told me to take it back to the shop and get it replaced.

Nexus one was released in Jan 2010 so the hardware is nearly 2 Years old.:money::money::money:

Glad you pointed it out that Nes was released in JAN 2010 and ICS in NOV 2011. Its easy to just take out the month and say the support has stopped in 1 year time when in actual facts, it has been almost 2 years.

Back to what I was saying before, Apple essentially stopped supporting the 3G 2 years ago (despite being able to update the iOS, your phone will come to a complete halt), when the phone was only 2 years old as well.

I think 2 full years of support is about the going rate and fits in nicely with a lot of mobile contracts. The 3GS has seen a bit over 2 years or support by virtue of iOS 5 being released later than usual. Sadly, 2 years of support in the Android world is a bit of a distant pipedream at the minute. The poor old HTC Wildfire was abandoned after less than 6 months!

I want a Windows Phone, bored of Android now. Is WP any good? Have always hated Apple stuff so wouldn't go near them.

can i just further that point by saying, ICS hasn't even been released yet, its likely going to be another few months before we see it in handsets.

WP is very slick and the Metro interface is nicely done - however MS have also taken the opportunity while they were writing their new OS of pretty much locking the thing down and imposing hardware requirement - unfortunately no support for external memory cards... As a result, I've had to switch to Android after many years of happy WinMo ownership (and tinkering!)

I supposed it depends on which android phone you have gone for. Most high end android phone (for the purpose of comparing to iphone, you have to compare the higher end phone for android) will have a lifespan/support for 2 years.

If you consider those low end android phone, I suppose the hardware will not be able to support the new ICS and hence they will be stuck on Gingerbread or Froyo. But then, will you want a phone that have the latest OS but will pretty much bring your phone to a halt?

I don't think there's any Android phone that has been supported for 2 years, not even the high end ones. The Nexus One has got the closest having been dropped after approximately 21 months. The oldest known device to get ICS right now appears to be the Nexus S and that's not even a year old yet.

By the way 12 mega pix is nothing it all depend on the size of the optic to get good photos. You will get better photos from 8mp camera if it is using better optic. So your point is not true. You may have got the wrong phone to use the camera thinking 12mp will get you better photos because it want.

You may not need the storage, many others do for photos, music, video, games etc.

You may not play games others do so faster CPU will help many others.

May others would be interested in better bigger screen, you may not be.

Many others would be interested in more integrate with house hold products, you might not be.

The lens size is also dependant does the iphone have a 5mm or above lens? NO
Does it have a proper flash? NO
Bigger than what? the Satio has the same size screen.
Which houshold products do you refer to?
    ;)

Is that why a lot of websites are comparing iphone 4s to proper cameras.
    Such as the link below:

    Or try seraching google.
